Hi guys!

I'm new here, and I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on the social features. I see that I can receive messages on my account page, but I don't see any means of sending them. I also wondered if there's a "Friends List" that I just haven't found yet. My other half is a recent member too, and I know we've both built wish lists, but we haven't found anyway of viewing each others stuff. Do these features even exist, and if so, where do we find them?

there are no friends list.

you send a private message from the forums by clicking the red/brown "PM" button next to someone's avatar picture.

Pro tip: the forum search engine is broken beyond repair. A work-around is to use the Google search instead, i.e.:
"Whatever you look for" + site:www.gog.com

This can be helpful if you have to find a post of someone you know by his username, so you can send him a PM.

Welcome to GOG Kodraenir. You won't find a nicer, more generous and quite frankly better looking (probably) community than this one. I know I sure haven't.

Since you're new here, let me tell you the most important thing about GOG: It has Sacrifice. I know you probably never heard of it before, but it is one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of gaming, and it costs just 5.99$ here on GOG. Make sure that's your next purchase, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

On GOG, the cookies are a lie! The cake however is surprisingly good. The DRM-free pizza is better though.

Ah yes... With comments like those, I know that I have truly come among my own people.
Actually, I do know Sacrifice! My other half has it... on its original CD. :) I love watching him play it, but I could never quite get the hang of the controls, so I unfortunately don't play it myself. However, I love the concept, the characters, and story. And it has TONY JAY! Gods I miss that man so much. The world of voice acting will never be quite the same without him.
What, dare I ask, is a "Weclock"?

Hmm, it's kind of weird to see someone talk about the voice acting of Sacrifice without so much as mentioning Tim Curry :-/

That said, welcome to GOG. We're a varied bunch, often rather argumentative, but mostly nice people anyway :-)
