Ah, it sadly looks like GOG never removes spam from the Wishlists - I frequently go through the entries and report spam (including the ones you mention), but I can still see entries from many-many months ago sitting there in hidden status.

So, do report the spammers, but don't expect to see their posts gone.
Man that's low : Spamming in the wishlist, for those people that want System Shock 2 as well as tennis shoes.
3 more from dovedoll, i waited 2 min and nothing :'(

Regarding this situation, I was wondering ... maybe its some kind of different problem? I mean this is just a wild idea but maybe someone hacked into the system and is editing all new users posts... nevermind thats silly.
Methinks this is the same user over and over again ... isnt there a way to block specific IPs?

With dynamic IPs being the norm, not really since if you block one IP, the person behind it can easily change the IP and come back to haunt again.

Blocking IP ranges is also bad because it blocks innocent people along with the spammers.

im a bit weirded out though that the spammer can post links - thought there was minimum rep required for that?!

I have an idea, you could change the minimum rep for links to 10 or 5? That would ensure (to quite an extent) that no more of this type of links are there? Or if thats too much, how about positive rep? Like anything above 0?
The spammer has made 3 people post 30 times in one hour ..... is this contagious ?

Yupp. I had to disconnect/reconnect my router because on some sites the current dynamic IP was banned, so I know the feeling.

Oh. I would suggest 50+ but what with all the downrep-anything-that-isnt-a-key-ninjas in the ninja thread it'd be difficult.

JMich said yesterday that it might be possible to circumvent the restriction - see here.
