Working out how stuff should work behind the scenes is also (not quite as frequently perhaps, but still commonly enough) referred to as design.

I had a feeling that up there looked like Machinarium...

I really love Machinarium. It's a wonderful game and well worthy of being on GOG. But comments here do serve to highlight how indie games do devalue themselves by being sold for next to nothing in bundles.

I think they have their own reasons not to release all games at once. May have something to do with marketing (so that people are even aware that such game has appeared on GOG; harder if it is swamped behind dozens of other titles released at the same time), or keeping people checking the site weekly, or most ongoing negotiations are still under negotiation, or they are still testing the games (when applicable).

If they released now 20 games in one day, and then nothing for the next few months, guess how much complaints that would cause? Don't be too impatient. :)

I have bought Amnesia and Penumbra Collection from the developer site DRM-free, and those games have been available for a long time on other sites too like Steam. Yet, I'd be more than delighted if they made a GOG release of them, and even make a big deal of it and releasing them one by one. No matter how, but those games belong to GOG as well.

While I won't argue whether a game is worthy or not, I do think that Machinarium is still a bit new if we're going by the whole Good OLD Games thing. (Witcher 2 is a wild exception due to varying factors that I don't want to go into because I haven't had my coffee yet...)

Well, like I said, I want these games on GOG but there should be some way to keep the inflow of older games also. That was the main issue people had with GOG expanding into new markets, that the old games won't be a priority anymore. And considering that these new games don't require tinkering from GOG part they really shouldn't delay the older games releases.
And if the want to release one at a time a solution would be an extra release day besides Tuesday and Thursday. That's what I'd like to see as an alternative.

Well, looks like you've missed all that "We'll be adding new games, day one exclusive releases are possible" thing.

And that makes Machinarium perfectly ok to appear on GOG.

And maybe it's Botanicula which will be exclusively on GOG for some time.

I also think you should expect Legends of Grimrock, as the devs already said it won't be Steam exlusive, and many ppl asked them to release it on gog.com
