Aningan: Already have it. I wish GOG would just release a bunch of these games at once and be done with it. And by "these games" I mean games that can be easily found on many other digital stores and were very cheap more often than not. They should focus on games not found on other sites, or ...

SimonG: Up until this point I agree with you;-)

Seconded!

Vitek: Yeah, it was even bonus to some bundle, wasn't it? Anyway it doesn't hurt to have it here. Maybe it will help to bring next Amanita Design's game faster.
It certainly doesn't hurt, but considering it's already sold DRM free and with soundtrack for $10 directly from Amanita (via the Humble Store), there's not much point in it. Oh well.

(I should probably buy Machinarium one of these days though. I just haven't felt like it yet; I didn't particularly enjoy the Samorosts, to be honest.)

bazilisek: Good news about the new design; the site needs it badly and well, there were "plenty of hints" that it was coming.

I'm not sure about Machinarium though. I've seen the game sold for ludicrously tiny prices many, many times. Can't imagine it selling much even for $5.99.

Also, get it, it's great game.
Yeah, it was part of one of the Humble Bundles. Maybe #2? That's where I got it.

It was in HIB2 (and as such also given out as a bonus to HIB3). Samorost 2 was added as a bonus to HIB1.
Games already sold cheap and DRM free elsewhere should just be dumped on the site randomly without much fanfare. Seems like a waste of a Tuesday/Thursday every time it happens.

Well, it will always only be "that game that was released when GOG started delivering DRM-Free Pizzas". Or got a new site design, something like that.

The site redesign will be the big news on Thursday, not the game. In the past they just skipped releases on such "big days".

5 hours ago, GOG tweeted that something was about to happen in 12 hours. I thought the redesign was going to go live today.

And yes, I'm looking forward to that a lot more than to Machinarium.

Yeah, kinda. I'd guess it's not easy to secure rights to 2 games a week, though.
Can't wait for the new design.

I'd also like to see Machinarium. Would open new doors for games AND Machinarium being given the GOG treatment would be great. Wonderful game.

It was in two bundles - Indie ♥ Bundle then Humble Indie Bundle #2 (and a bonus for #3 as well, I think). I bought it many times over :P

I do not understand why to change site design - current one is very simple, very functional, have everything I need and I love it.
I think there are much more other important things that should be done first (like fixes for some games).

Well, they can change the layout. They can't do much with many of the games. And just, for one little second, think about the possibility off a sub forum named "game requests" ....

Well, when I say design, I mean coding. Design is fine, but the coding is not. Catalogue is becoming unwieldy with 300+ games all on a single page, the My Account section is broken for pretty much the same reason, forums lack essential features. The site has not scaled with GOG's growth, and if they didn't do something about it, it would only keep getting worse.
From Twitter:

Oh no! We had to move our new video debut to Friday :( Take a look at the making-of instead: http://bit.ly/MakingOfGOG

So... no more surprise today?
