Looks pretty good, think we can convince Taylor to put it on GOG?

I don't think they show enough to truly convince me that this is worth supporting. More than anything I'd like to see a proper tech demonstration, as I kinda liked the conceptual idea... Having said that, I decided to go for the $45 tier.
Hmmmmmm...

That reads like a publicity stunt to increase the cashflow of the campaign. Don't most successful pitches earn a lot in the first couple of days and even more in the last couple? On kicktraq.com they're pulling just below $20,000 a day, which I wouldn't call 'disappointing.' They haven't showed much about the game yet, so I assume there are a lot of people on the fence

In his video update today he specifically says something about hoping it "turns around" and asks whether he should just cancel it. For whatever reason he is obviously disappointed. Maybe he expected to be another four million dollar blockbuster.
Seems like he either didn't ask accounting about the state of his studio, or he had an unrealistic view of how the Kickstarter campaign would start off. He definitely missed the boat with enthusiasm for the likes of Project Eternity and Planetary Annihilation and ended up with the likes of Elite and whatever Molyneux is doing. He did the decent thing by laying off his staff so they can look for work immediately.
low rated
Yes... because we're all so starved for multi-player centric Action RPG's that Kickstarter is needed to fund them...

I hope this fails

They've raised $13,000 in 5 hours, so this is definitely working in his favor.

For some reason, I can't stop watching the thing unfold on KS...
Not impressed. The pitch video was uninspired and inadequate for the level of funding they were asking for. I didn't get a good sense of what kind of game they were making from the talking heads. Obviously they know what they want to make, but they didn't do a good job communicating it. I've seen far better pitches from smaller studios asking for a lot less.
Looks interesting enough
So basically another DOTA clone, now with more control over buildings and the spawning army, with a budget of 1.1 million.

Love Chris for TA and SupCom, but do we really need this?
For whatever reason, my gut is telling me that Wildman isn't going to make it. Frankly, when the first paragraph reads like Chris Taylor is trying to sell his concept to big companies - not the average person - it doesn't strike me as wise. However, I hope that my gut is wrong - I wouldn't want to be Chris Taylor should his bet-the-company-on-this Kickstarter fall through.

I don't like the concept either, but for the sake of truth it should be pointed out that they say it is singleplayer focused.
For what it's worth this went up not too long ago.

Some of his team are coming going back in on Monday, voluntarily, to see this campaign through! (myself included)

We are going to get new game details out! (Just hold tight) Share this out, and keep talking about this kickstarter! We can do this! But we need your help! Get out into your favorite forums and talk about us!

Want to learn something specific about the game? Ask it here, on our forums, our Facebook page, or tweet it in! We'll try to get answers out as fast as we can - even if it means texting Chris at 4 in the morning, "Did you make Dungeon Siege 3?"
WTH I'm in. I'm not sure about the game, but I think if they get funded they can deliver on it. If they don't make funding then I have nothing to loose, so I'm willing to take the ride. If for no other reason than I think it would be a neat story.
Question
What do people find about this KS which stops them from backing it?. Considering Project Eternity and other similar KS's started from zero , it seems to me this game (as unexciting at the name is) is in a similar position but nowhere near as hyped up . Back at $45 level. Im a fan of the older DS series and Sup Commander games. So wanna see what happens with this.
Oh and confirmed it is definitely a single player focused game (will have coop as well).
