We're sorry for the trouble caused by this oversight on our part ;-\
We were given our version by the publisher and then we made changes to make the game compatible on Vista and then we tested it fully on XP and Vista and were able to consistently complete the game on those systems.
We're now working to get approval from the publisher to include the patch in our game installer. We'll keep you posted of any updates.
Sorry once again for the trouble and we promise to be even more diligent in the future to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.

And during those tests, have you noticed this "Elven Rings of Greed" problem? Cause if not, unofficial patch or not, I'll most likely buy it right now. ;-)

Fantastic attitude. Still, I'll now have to wait a bti on the purchase to see the matter handled officially.
However, as a gesture of good faith, I'll go ahead and buy the other games on GoG presently that I was planning to get with this game all this time I've been staring at it in the "to come" section.
I've waited all this time for a great GoG version of this game, I'll manage to wait a bit longer to ferret all this out. Stay sharp!

Well said, this is another reason I have no reservation to recommend GoG.com everyone. Along with all of their other great attributes, they are approachable and are not afraid to admit their mistakes.

I add to the card sentence "This game has been patched to the latest version 1.03.24".
That means that we've got the approval for this patch :)
Now, the game you can download from "my account" page is patched latest patch version with all bugs fixed.
I hope that's a good news :)

Is there a seperate update package that people can get or is it just a re-download of everything?

Isn't that what Warlords Battlecry III unofficial patch 10324 download on first page was for? Now it's just integrated to official GOG installer...

Fantastic! Speedy fix to this issue as I believe Impulse has yet to manage anything.
Yep, sizable GoG order incoming this weekend....probably my biggest in one go yet.
Thanks for doing this solid GoG...only my Seven Kingdoms 2 question remains and for all I know all is well thus far with everything in the merry old land of GoG!
