drmlessgames: So that means Bloodlines is next?

I bloody well hope so...or soon :P
I can finally out my retail copy with its three CDs in a box somewhere out of the way if it does. ^_^

We can hope, but that seems unlikely to me, considering it is still being sold at $20 on all the other digital download services. If GOG were to get it at the $10 price point, it would severely undercut all of them, which they won't like but will have to match and Activision will take a huge hit on the profits from the sales of the game, which have reportedly been quite steady since it debuted on other digital download services

Damn, well, that depends on the level of greed from Activision and Mr. Kotick specially. Those 20$ digital download services like D2D and such offer little to no support for the downloads, have DRM and are expensive. A proper release on a site dedicated to old, good titles would increase the residual income they are getting from it right now.

F*** no. If they want a 9.99$ that's great, but charging more for it? I think it's a bad idea for GOG to start charging all around the retail ranges. Soon there will be 50$ games on gog.
Fantastic addition to the catalogue GoG! On wishlist and will buy soon....
And to Activison good on you having at the $5.99 pricepoint again!

If they're gonna amp up the prices they should at least do it only for collections and such.
so disappointed
this game has been on my "to buy" list for years but now I'm hearing it's a diablo hack n' slash sort of thing? I don't like those. I think I'll pass :/

The impression I got was that the upcoming higher price point would be for only collections and newer titles, while the new lower price point would be reserved for the really old titles. Considering we don't really know what the new price points will be (we can't assume that it will be $20), we can't really say if it would (or should) be applied to Bloodlines.
Personally, if it were to come to GOG, I feel it should be at the $10 price point (and it should include the awesome soundtrack).

I don't know why people are calling it that. Bloodlines was way more "action RPG" than Redemption was, though it was a different kind of action than Diablo. Redemption is more like playing a PnP RPG, but without the hassle of taking turns.

Probably the GOG release will coincidence with massive price drop elsewhere? I remember the same thing happened to Tropico Reloaded; It's priced above $9.99, but got slashed to 10 bucks when GOG released their version.
I bough this game the day it came out and still have my retail copy. I didn't initially finish the game (stupid school!), but I went back to it a couple of years ago and played it from beginning to end. It's not quite as powerful as it was when it first came out (I remember being blown away by the graphics, story, etc), but it was still quite fun. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a Diablo clone, but I'll say it's more like Diablo than Bloodlines.
Definitely going to pick it up for $6 though!

LordCinnamon: <grins> welcome to the awesomeness that is GOG. Glad to have you on board!

Lol define selling steady brother. If you consider one purchase one month, followed by 2 the second month a 100% improvement and proof of sales, than maybe. You can get Bloodlines for free just for joining and buying a subscription from Fileplanet. I sincerely doubt there would be much of a riple if GOG started selling the game at 9.99. Not like a warning claxon would go off at D2D or Steam if this occurred. Bloodlines is kind of old and not really a big deal except to those of us who had the joy of actually playing it.
For mature audience only You must be at least 18 years old to play it

Aww
