robobrien: How does it compare to Bloodlines?

Bloodlines is a lot better. Way more personality, more compelling environments, better atmosphere among others. But Redemption as far as I remember does have a rich story.

I second this.

Gexecuter: Never heard of this one, hopefully people don't it get with confused Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines because Redemption appears to be an action game instead of an RPG. I wonder if it's any good.

Vandal: I'd say Redemption is an action-RPG, rather than an outright action game. I need to play it again to refresh my memory (something I can't wait to do!)... but I do remember loving it.

Cool, maybe i'll check it sometime. Thanks for the info!
I meant to try that one for a long time, great!
And of course, if GoG could get the rights for this one, I see no reason why they couldn't also get Bloodlines...
interesting releases. So much for all those people complaining about not having a release on Tuesday...
I'll tag them as wishlist for the moment, I really need to finish some games before buying new ones...
Which doesn't protect me against instabuys if you release something I do want immediatly! ^_^

It doesn't. They're related by license only. It's more like Gothic if anything. From what I've played, it's a good game. But completely different in every way to Bloodlines and lacks its charm and atmosphere.

Mentalepsy: What's it really like?

Only one way to find out :>...
I played this one a couple of years ago....though I don't think I ever finished it. If I'd compare the gameplay to anything I think it's a little like the witcher. I do remember it as a pretty hard game though. Also I had a little problem with how the camera handled but that was overlookable.
It's definitely worth 5.99 though....long game with an interesting story AND it's both in medievil and modern time which makes it a little more interesting.
Awesome but give us a soundtrack of this title too. I love this game's soundtrack.
I think I played the demo of this game a long time ago, but all I remember is smashing some crates in a basement. I gather it's on the actiony side of roleplaying, but for some reason thinking about playing it makes me think about playing Die By The Sword, and that puts a bad taste in my mouth.
I doubt I could get the demo to work, so maybe I'll look up some Youtube videos to see how it plays.

Sweet fantastic game cant wait to play it.
To everyone who wonder how the game looks and plays, check out GOG.com trailer on our YouTube channel or on the game's page :)
Nice game. A cool aspect is how you start out as a crusader in medieval times with swords and axes and after a while you end up in some gothic modern times with guns and baseball bats :)
Thanks big C, I'll check it out when I escape from my office's net filter.
