eivl: Hey, i got all tree games on cd, i love the games, one of the best games ever and a mile stone in gamedevelopment.
I am used to use all kind of workarounds to get these games to work under XP/Vista, will this work right out of the box or is it just the same old steps when im playing from CD?

UAKM works right "out of the box" for me. Every CD is placed in a virtual disc reader so you never have to "change discs", the sound card is configured, there isn't any executable/copy protection trouble... It's a perfect version (unless we get a remastered, high-def remake of the game, that is!).
Wow. I had never heard of the Tex Murphy games, and when I saw the announcement I thought "meh.. looks like the GOG-team got their hands on a bad old game no one will care about". Turns out I was pretty wrong, judging from the comments here =) I'm not really into adventure games, but part of GOG's charm is that it enables me to play the classics of genres I never gave a serious chance. So I might get this after all..

You will not regret it :)
Considering it's age, it's still highly treasured amongst the AG community - and of course a real classic.
