Remember not having a powerful enough computer to run this Tex Murphy game back in the day? Now it's not a problem and it costs you only $9.99.
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tex_murphy_under_a_killing_moon]Under a Killing Moon is the third installment of the Tex Murphy adventure game series and the first one to include a 3D environment and 4 CDs worth of full motion video. The story takes place in the year 2042, with the world healing itself after the Third World War. Its aftermath has led to the creation of two social groups - the Mutants and the "Norms", with tensions rising between them. After hitting rock-bottom, Tex has decided to get his act together and is determined to get some work no matter what. His luck seems to change after he solves a simple case of robbery and gets a job - to find a lost statuette belonging to a mysterious woman...

Futuristic Noir Hard Boiled Detective FMV Game Series.
How can that not sound awesome :)
Actually, I've got no idea on how good or bad the game is, but it is in the realm of the stuff I want to see more of.

This is my opinion, and I'll stick by it. I never really did enjoy adventure games, with the exception of Monkey Island and some others.

Your choice of course. But these are more than worthy to be on GOG.
This one also features the best hint system ever. Really - that's what should be in any Adventure Game. It's not a walk-through it's hints (that come in levels - that you can reveal one at a time - which push you in the right direction, rather than giving away solutions)

What like Professor Layton?
This is a great game. I am tempted to buy it simply because the 4 CD version is so hard to get working (I had to give up after a disc change because dosbox wouldn't recognize the new CD).

Look at the screenshots - there's a "hint" button in the menu. You get points for advancing in the game, which you can use to buy a hint if you are stuck. They are just short statements that can help - and come in levels. If the most vague (first level) doesn't help you can invest more. So they are more ... brain teasers than anything.

It still is.
404 When downloading the soundtrack..
Great title but 9.99 are too much for a DOS game. DOS games should cost 5.99. Anyway...
This is great news!
I could never complete the game back when I had it in the late 90s, as disc 3 or 4 simply would not work. Returned to shop and got a second copy, and that had disc issues too.
Definitely getting this one.
