The Tropico series gives you a unique opportunity to become El Presidente of a banana republic, or the Pirate King of a pirate hideout. Pineapples and cigars on one hand, ale and wenches on the other... And it's all available now on GOG.com!
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tropico_reloaded]Tropico Reloaded consists of Tropico, its addon Tropico Paradise Island and Tropico 2: Pirate Cove. Both games are construction and managerial simulations, in which you govern a small, tropical island. Contrary to games like The Settlers, you don't micromanage specific units here. Instead, you order the construction of buildings, set priorities, wages and issue edicts to coax the island's inhabitants to do what you want. The rest is up to their AI's free will. All the while you must be wary of potential rebellion if your people become discontent. The gameplay in both titles is similar, with the sequel being slightly easier. Think you've got what it takes to outlast your predecessors?
