The Tropico series gives you a unique opportunity to become El Presidente of a banana republic, or the Pirate King of a pirate hideout. Pineapples and cigars on one hand, ale and wenches on the other... And it's all available now on GOG.com!
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tropico_reloaded]Tropico Reloaded consists of Tropico, its addon Tropico Paradise Island and Tropico 2: Pirate Cove. Both games are construction and managerial simulations, in which you govern a small, tropical island. Contrary to games like The Settlers, you don't micromanage specific units here. Instead, you order the construction of buildings, set priorities, wages and issue edicts to coax the island's inhabitants to do what you want. The rest is up to their AI's free will. All the while you must be wary of potential rebellion if your people become discontent. The gameplay in both titles is similar, with the sequel being slightly easier. Think you've got what it takes to outlast your predecessors?
I've always wanted to be "El Presidente of a banana republic". ;)
Woah...glad I didn't buy it when it first appeared on other DD services :)
*wishlist'd*
Nice one, however I own it in retail already.
If there were some interesting bonuses, I'd consider buying it again.
Nice GOG, I've been waiting until you got Tropico to buy it from here. Now to buy it and become el presidente.
Hmm, might have to give this one a try.
Cool! These games sure look interesting, but I wasn't interested enough to buy them on other DD services. Now, though, I have a strong incentive to purchase :-).
@El_Caz
Have you bought it yet or will you get it from here (to have your revenge on Manuel Antonio Noriega)?

Good old games.
DAMN IT! To think I got it off Steam for $15 (!) instead of waiting. Ah well, I'm not going to buy it again. It's a great game, buy it if you haven't already.

Yeah, but some of the games on this site aren't THAT old. Like Disciples 2 (2005) for example! I was just asking!

Cool, I've been looking for a game which has a little less (or none) unit micromanagement in it. Wishlisted for now, still trying to hold back buying lotsa games.

Now I REALLY don't want to know what you do in your spare time. At home. With the curtains shut. And the doors locked.
