Gexecuter: Steam has Ghost Recon at the same 10 dollar price so i don't see why you guys should whine. Also i don't think the expansions will come to the service anytime soon since the gog guys said that the Ubisoft deal was for 7 games only. If gog and Ubisoft make another deal we may see the expansions here.

Weclock: oh, I see, it looks like it's just the expansions that are $4.99.
on a similar note though, painkiller is $4.99 on steam and $9.99 here.
but that has the soundtrack (even though it is easily rippable from the game)..

Weclock, Painkiller is 9.99 USD on Steam for US customers and it's only the Gold edition and not the Black edition that we have on GOG.com.
As for the other Ubisoft titles, we need more time before we can negotiate to add more titles.

this is so strange because today I was at EB games, and I bought Far Cry and Ghost Recon Complete for 20 bucks in a pack (I just wanted it for Far Cry)

Castrum: Painkiller: Overdose is, according to the description, "A prequel to the eventual sequel that bridges the storyline and ties up wandering ends." Therefore, it would not be the same Painkiller that we have here on GOG, which is $9.99 on Steam as well (not sure what the difference is between Gold and Black versions, but meh):

Oh thank goodness they've tied up the loose ends and sorted out story consistency. The questionable plot execution always weighed heavily on my mind as I hacked down monstrous satanic hordes with my whirly chopping stick.

Meh. I bought this along with a bunch of other Ghost Recons on steam a couple weeks ago for 20 bucks. And I don't even really play them there.

yeah, i'm still planning on getting the GR pack on steam, sorry GOG,com but they have better value in that you get many items, including the expansion packs, sure $39.99 vs $9.99 is a tad ridiculous, but I want the whole kitnkaboodle.

Yeah. I got lucky and got all that back when the weekend deal was that pack for 20 bucks.

Black edition is just the international version of Gold, same stuff :)
And he just misstook Painkiller Overdose for regular Painkiller ^^

I remember playing this back in the day and getting my butt kicked because I sucked at shooters.
But alas, I got it in the Steam pack several weeks ago. Probably will pick up Rambo Six when it comes out.

Because the two expansions, Desert Thunder and Island Siege, added so much to the core game, I'm going to hold out until we get more info on the expansions.
Had lots of fun with GR back in the day at LAN parties. Definitely interested in revisiting it, but not without the expansions.
