thornton_s: I know i ask this every time when a Strategy/RTS game is released but can anyone give me a newbie difficulty rating (1-5, 1 being hardest) for both these games as i am quite interested in these, especially since you can complete objectives without fighting.

Personally, i would give this game a 5 on your scale. Very, very, very easy. Some missions require you only to set up a special working order, then you can leave the computer and half an hour later, the mission is won by itself.
Not a game, if you want some sort of challenge. But perfect for just playing and chilling :)

Perfect for me because i am terrible at tough RTS & strategy games and always end up giving up on them.
Just like Fallout Tactics is starting to get a bit tough.

No more RTS... please...
More RTS please! :D
... although I could really use a new shooter now. See about getting Chaser from Jowood for example, I'd hit that.

You forgot about the "defend the truck" mission, then.

I haven't played it.. but if the price was right i'd be willing to give it a spin. Always happy to try budget FPS games.
Is this (The Nations) an RTS? I wouldn't really have said Settlers was an RTS, and i thought this was similar....

It is an RTS in the sense that it is Real Time. However, it is unlike what one would typically think of as an RTS in that the object is not to build as big of an army you can, as fast as you can to go kick your rivals. It is much more about research, goods and economy than building armies. You will need them but it is not the first think you ever think about.
