I am not familiar with adventure game esp. English titles, and would like to know if this is those riddle solving game which I would never able to finish without a walkthrough? I am very bad in direction both in games and real live and not very good at riddle solving too -_- but I do like reading mystery friction...so i am wondering if this is game that would be suitable for me.....

I've only played the first one, but it's rather easy as far as adventure games go - only had to use an online walkthrough once, at the end of Chapter 2. But hey, you can always treat it as an interactive movie and just play with a printed-out walkthrough in your lap if you want to.
I had heard that Syberia 2 was somewhat of a disappointment after the first. It actually kept me from even trying the first. Though I have to admit I have never been much of an adventure game fan (why is "adventure game" synonymous with "puzzles" anyway? Is there anything *less* adventurous than doing puzzles?).
I'll put this on the "pick up the series when it goes on sale" list.

I have already finished #1 so I will definitely buy the other part of the series.
However, I would be happier if this was sold as a single game to be comparable to the Longest Journey (cost/gamehours).
This is the 36. game release on GOG ,what i will pass.

I'm so glad I bought the drm-free dual-pack for $9.99 the weekend before Syberia I came to GOG :)

Thanks. I bet I will try this game once I finish my current list then.
I am currently enjoying my Port Royale journey.....
Longest journey will be another game that I will like try for adventure game

Hurrah! Another goddamn 'adventure' game! ;__;
In all seriousness though, I've heard some good things about this series even though the only adventure game I've ever enjoyed was Grim Fandango so I may give this one a shot as the trailer does make it look a very interesting game indeed, thanks for bringing it to light for me GoG :)
Anyways, here's hoping for a good month of Atari classics! :P

I love how every adventure on my list to play eventually winds up on here, saves me the effort of digging around to find a boxed copy. Hopefully this is as easy as Sanitarium, rubber ducky puzzles aren't fun!
Still have my doubts about this series, and the publisher's 9,99$ policy doesn't sound like a very great deal considering that arguably more "classic" adventure games like Gabriel Knight 1 and 2 (and 3, for that matter) all sell for 5,99$ each.
Can't guarantee that I won't pick up both Syberias during a future promo event, though...

Haven't played the first, but the second is worth a lot more than the current price.
I <3 Syberia 2 and Still Life. GOG guys, get SL here now!

As stated in march:

GOG.com: We're revealing another big publisher joining our DRM-free outlet. First games to be released throughout April.
GOG.com [...] with the famous worldwide publisher - Atari. The hit games will be added to the GOG.com catalogue throughout April and will include such glorious gems of yesteryear as Outcast, Master of Orion and Master of Magic.

I don't see any glorious Outcasts or Masters, only yet another adventure! Atari now!
You can buy the Syberia 1 and 2 combo from Amazon for less than the price of one here, but the Syberia 2 has DRM in it. : (

And if we wait a bit GOG will have a two pack 50% off sale and we can get them both DRM Free for $4.99 ;-)
