Magnus: Stronghold 1, yay. But 1.3.1, please explain. The last official version of Stronghold 1 was 1.2. Could someone post the changes?

We've change the patch version for 1.2, sorry for mistake.

Have this and loved it, but looking forward to Crusader... just curious why Crusader costs more though?

Yes! GOG I tip my hat to you sir(s). Stronghold is a great castle strategy game and I'm happy to see it on the site. I'll probably be buying right after I finish up Europa Universalis 3. Thanks GOG!

As far as I know the prices are not set by GoG alone but by agreement with the owner of the gaming licence. I would guess that it is they who have set the higher price for Crusaders

Hello GOG.com,

The original Stronghold game the archers and crossbowmen never shoot their arrows on the ground right in front of them. I've lost my original copy and I bought yours, but now I can see your copy (Stronghold HD Version 1.3) is causing this problem. Is there a solution to this problem?

If you want to go back to the original game, you could try "Classic Stronghold (Windows)" listed on the right under "My bonus content" for the game.

It's not an in-game option, I think adambiser was referring to the My Bonus Content on your GOG copy of the game (your digital shelf/library). Each game you buy on GOG (most of them, at least) come with extra goodies, you just have to go to My Account -> My Games, then click Stronghold and there should be an area with the bonus content for it.

It's not in the game, but in your GOG game account. See the attached picture.

As for the problem you're experiencing with the arrows, I can't be of any help because I've not yet played Stronghold (either version).

Listen, I don't know who hurt you in the past, but I wasn't making fun of you. The forum search is notoriously terrible, so the fact you found anything useful deserves congratulations :)
