Are "thewishingwell" codes supposed to be used in the "Promo Code" box of the checkout screen? I saw it posted when it said "Now" for the time but it didn't work in that box...of course, I was just guessing since I haven't seen a post that said what to do with them :).

The URL is http://www.gog.com/en/gift/, though I suppose that link is only really shown if you receive a gift; I imagine thewishingwell just gifts the games to a personal account, then copies the code into the relevant discussion thread. I only knew about the URL because it was asked about a couple releases ago.

next time you'll know what to do :) maybe wishingwell will post another code even on this same release, sometimes he\she leaves more than a single code
This game looks really good, definitely getting soon!
Also, if you guys release Age Of Empires 1 + 2 on this site, I will actually be in love with you.
Ooh, wonderful to see this game here!
I played the demo several years ago and it looked awesome, but it was impossible to get a physical copy of the game where I live, and when I discovered digital downloads, every online store where I could find it had some DRM related drawbacks, such as only being able to install the game a few times and/or on a limited number of computers (not that I go and install games I buy left and right, but if something bad happens and I have to install a game on my comp multiple times, I don't want it to be a hassle, ya know?). I'm so glad I waited for a GOG release. I had hope it would pop up here eventually because of the Syberia series, from the same publisher, which I already own on CD.
I plan on getting this as soon as I finish replaying Gabriel Knight 2. :)
Here's hoping Post Mortem and Still Life 2 will also be part of the GOG catalogue someday!

Funny, the Still Life series is still available here at stores. You get Still Life 1+2 for just 7 bucks even. I was actually planning to buy it next month, but I rather take this

You're lucky then. I live in a small town, and we tend to not have access to a lot of stuff unless it's very mainstream, so that may have played a part. My local computer store, which is your safest bet if you want to find a particular computer game, were very helpful to me and tried to order it, but they couldn't find it anywhere, and that was like two years ago.
Oh well. Guess in the end my patience was rewarded.

Kakihara: I think I'll buy this. Ready for a dark adventure :D

Eclipse: And on the side of action rpgs, I'd love to see a very underrated game called Silver here on gog, as it doesn't play well on modern systems.

LISTEN TO THIS MAN!

Yep, I want it too. :)
I wonder if we'll ever find out thewishingwell's story...

Dunno how my previous post didn't stick, but...
Finally booted the game up, and after a grand, could-be-mistaken-as-"artsy" intro, I'm giving coffee to one of the worst excuses for cussing I ever done seen. Decided to save the game (which seemed to work) and exit to the menu (which didn't) so I could check out mouse-based contexts in the manual (as I suspected, left-click is to-the-point, right-click is shooting the shit), but had to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of a massive cursor contrail party.
Will be going back into the game, though, now that I've skimmed the manual. On that note...

TJF588: Are you sure you have the whole story ?
In the world of Still Life, nothing is exactly what it seems. Everybody has a secret, everyone is trying to uncover what'shidden, and finding the answers just creates more questions.
The full story of Still Life continues online, with a Web-based adventure in which you will delve a little bit deeper into the secrets of Still Life, secrets which certain people are trying very hard to keep hidden.
The mystery continues online at www.stilllife-game.com

Well, that's kinda lame, since the site's down (at least it's Internet Archive'd).
Side note: Why does clicking the hyperlink button never put the URL tags around my highlighted selection? Is it some fluke from using Opera instead of a more commonly used browser?

Ugh, all new games seemed to be priced at $10 these days. With the Euro being weaker than usual, it doesn't make for an attractive offer for me. $6 would have made this an instant sale.
It's a decent game other than the cookie puzzle and the ending. I also thought that Victoria's voice was terrible and it got to the point where i played her parts with the sound off.

^ This, I'm not too excited about release day lately. Just change my buying habits to sale day . . . =)
It stinks that this is the only thing GOG has to fight against Steam's Lucasarts Week. Nothing can stop the Steam sale...
