The Space Quest series is an absolute classic among point-and-click adventure titles and the ultimate example of just how much cliche can be squeezed into a game.
Those who have already witnessed the antics of space-janitor Roger Wilco will need no introduction. If not, then check [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzGD2na92kg]our trailer and if you're a fan of adventure games, humor and/or space opera, look no further and get this pack, right now! The games love to parody sci-fi franchises like Star Trek or Star Wars, but they don't stop there. No pop-culture reference is safe with Roger Wilco and the series' hilariously sarcastic narrator on the job. The story itself will see you traveling through space, time and even your significant other's lower intestine! So put on your space-boots, grab your broom and do your part for "truth, justice and really clean floors". Roger, Wilco, over and out!
If I say I've never played any of the Quest games, will I get lynched? Kind of a surprising omission given how good they look.
WTF? you can get the cd-rom space quest collection containing games 1-6 for $10 all over the place.

I've only ever finished Space Quest 6 myself, so I think you can be pardoned. ;)

What about the first 3?
Wondering about the first 3, too. You can get all 6 (admittedly with DRM) for about the same price at other sites.
Yeah, this was a bit strange.

Ah, that's okay then. *phew*

They will probably be released later which is odd, also i think i understand why they separated the collection in half and are going to sell them separately.

I've only ever played the Police Quest games.
For those complaining about the price, the whole series is $20 on Steam so it shouldn't be a surprise.

Well, with Ishar they threw the rest of the games into the same pack later on. I'm not saying that's going to happen here. But it's a possibility.

I played the second and fourth SWAT games. But those weren't strictly speaking Quest games.

This looks great!
Still a bit odd not to start with the first three...
Edit: Whatever, it's a classic series and I'm glad to see it on GOG. Now give us Quest for Glory! :-)

It's also selling for $20 in Activision's download store.
I'm guessing compatability issues or something like that causes the 1-3 to be released later.
I've played at least 1 game of the KQ, SQ and PQ series, but never finished one.
This is going to my wishlist as I'll definitely will buy them sooner or later.
Edit:
When I click on a title in Activision's download store the price changes from $19.99 to €14.99.
