Oh... Well, the twin pistols just made me think John Woo style shooter creating false expectations. A John Woo style mod using an oldschool shooter engine would be awesome though.

To anyone from Gog.com : Hey, the page was taking too long to load when I clicked on submit to send my review of ROTT and by mistake i submitted again, and now there my review is posted 3 times on the ROTT section. Could you be so kind to delete the additional 2 ones?

I think with the Doom engine you aren't gonna get much in the way of realistic environments.
The thing that made Duke3D so great was that it was the first game to really try and do real world environments. Before that the engines weren't really up to it...
Its basically Doom with different weapons and enemies... as all games were back then.
I'd assume it has a shareware version if you want to try it... most games did back then..

The first person games package has the shareware eps of Blake Stone, Duke, RoTT, etc..
(also the platform games package has demos of most of the apogee platformers like duke 1&2)

Okay, I bought it drunk as usual. But I woke up to this fat ugly chick that I tried to make sweet love to on the morning after, but I just couldn't get an erection. Guess once I get really desperate, I'll get around to playing it.
