michaelleung: Can I hear a fuck yes?
Now everyone who got it on Steam will feel like a giant prat.

What's wrong with having bought this on Steam years ago and ever hearing about it because of Steam?
I have this game on the original Xbox, and I loved it. The fish boss was particularly memorable, but I think that Lloyd's level was the best.

Steam is DRM, blah, blah, blah... GOG gives you extras, blah, blah, blah... with GOG you actually own the game, not rent it, blah, blah, blah... GOG is cheaper, blah, blah, blah... you know, all the usual reasons to regret buying a game from Steam instead of GOG.
I am soooooooo glad that I bit the bullet and didn't buy this on Steam. Now I can buy it from GoG, the way nature intended.
Now all I have to worry about is the minor obstacle of having no money. P

Grah, I knew this would happen. Bought this off Steam only like two weeks ago because of a Let's Play that I was watching. Finished it 100%, great game.. but now my only incentive to buy it here is to support GoG (which I do want to do). Hmm.. I'll mull it over for a while. If you add the soundtrack to the extras I'll definitely buy it, that's one thing I'd like to have.

lordbrockington: Wonderful! So when is GOG getting Grim Fandango? Hmmm???

Hahaha, man, that would be like extasy, too much of awesome stuff. ... Or maybe not? Yeah, Grim Fandango would be awesome, especially their soundtrack...

Of course, but where was GOG 3 Years ago when I bought it? It didn't exist. I since bought it on xbox live arcade too. If I didn't buy it back then I wouldn't have known or cared about this game.
I love GOG, but all the steam bashing is just stupid.
Steam is DRM, maybe, but I never noticed anything unlike with retail games who install rootkits and stuff.
GOG gives you extras Right, I don't really see any extras on this game. Anyway do you really care about the extras? I don't, I care about the game, but that's maybe just me.
With GOG you actually own the game, not rent it You don't rent games on Steam. I guess the right term is you license them, meaning you can only use them with your Steam account. But it's not like Valve is ever going out of businness, if they do I am shure they have a failsafe or something, they are generaly not an evil company. Also if you dind't save your games on GOG and they go out of businness, you'll lose everything too, unless they have a failsafe too.
GOG is cheaper Oh yes, on GOG this game costs nothing, on Steam it costs next to nothing, only 3 years earlier.
Also GOG has lots of GOG but also lots of BOG and also lots of very old GOG, Steam on the other hand some very good GOG and some very bad BOG and only a handfull of very old GOG, but it also has lots of Good New Games (GNG) and lots of BNG. So you can't really compare them
To resume my post
GOG is awesome,... blah, blah, blah... Steam is awesome, too.
EDIT: I mean, I am glad I didn't buy Earthworm Jim on Steam which is like 20 € for the 3 games. SAY WHAT? 20 €???
On GOG on the other hand it's just 12$ for the 3 games which is like 8 € or something. And since I don't care for the 3rd game, it's actually just 4 €.

Sometimes the soundtack is even better than the game.

should steam ever choose to revoke your ability to login to the service for whatever means (and steam isn't providing you a service, it isn't technically providing you anything, and you have no right to login, and they will revoke your ability, for doing absolutely nothing, like myself), you will not have access to your games, even if you backed them up.
With GOG, even if your login gets removed, your backed up copies of your games will still work.

Weclock:

Yes, with Steam it's possible to get banned and lose all your games. However unlikely that may be. If Gog somehow banned you, you'd still have the games you downloaded.
Oh, and VAC bans. If you get banned on TF2, you get banned from other multiplayer Source games.

Don't get me wrong, I preffer buying my games on GOG, too. But if that game isn't available on GOG, I am not going to wait some years for it to MAYBE arrive. And some games like say Half Life 3 are NEVER going to be on GOG.
And yes, I heard of stories of people being banned from Steam. But that was because those people broke the contract and imported pirated versions of games into the steam client. Thats not going to happen with me, so I don't mind. I also find the Steam client very convenient, with a list of all my games in one place. Maybe GOG should do something similar (I mean the client, not the DRM and stuff).

I was banned from steam, and I didn't do any of that. I didn't do anything wrong at all.
@Weclock
You were unbanned again, weren't you?

Renders (http://psychonauts.atspace.org/renders.html)

FanArt (http://psychonauts.deviantart.com/)
I know I could get most of this my self, but it would be nice to have it easily availible on gog.
Also can't you make a download all bonuses or make somekind of checkbox system when choosing what to download? Would make it a lot easier on us. (I'll post the last part in the suggestions thread too)
/edit hmm maybe I should post this at the Psychonauts section too, so that more people will see it... I think I'll do that.

LazyAndroid, Steam can be all the the love and cake you wish it to be but I really can't understand how you still support and defend it living in Spain (like me) and being ripped-off by Valve's "currency exchange" policy, aka $ = €. You've got to be the first (an only I've met so far) Spaniard who even defends Steam at all. I used to love Steam and Valve too, but their European pricing policy completely changed it.

Oh, yes, I hate that too.
It's been a while since I actually bought anything on Steam so I didn't remember that.
