I'll grant that its got a fun sense of chaotic malevolence to it and they were excellent at creating the "Wow, no other game lets you do that" shock value stuff but once you get under that, there's not much of a game behind it.
ANOTHER surprise release? how much awesomeness can one site contain?
Just WOW
That exactly a GOG game !!!
Send us more games like this one !!!
And surprises...

Gameplay doesn't need have to be deep to be fun. Sometimes it's great to just to have some mayhem to throw around.
I missed the Postal series first time around, saw the over the top media coverage though.
I'll be interested to see how "bad" it really is. Sounds like a fun way to kill some time.

Same here, is it worth getting (question to level headed old skool retro gamers only please) :)

I'd like to know as well. I've heard of them, but never tried any of them. What are the objectives? Are there any?
It looks like all you do is kill people and blow shit up. Not bad, actually.

WBGhiro: HOLY CRAP! i almost died of an heart attack!

Aliasalpha: I almost died of disappointment "SURPRISE RELEASE??? OHBOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOY. Oh.... postal..."
Still, it'll bring a decent number of sales to the site so its not a bad thing, I just hope the next surprise has a bit less of the 'brainless shooter' taste to it.

Agree with that. I remember having played a little with Postal 2, and to be honest, I think it's surely one of the stupidiest game ever. I was almost agree with people saying that games encourage violence at that time (I said "almost").
Honestly, what's the pleasure to put gas on a guy and burn him? What the pleasure in urinate on a guy?...
Don't misunderstand me, I like violent games. See the 1st Manhunt for example, this game is really really violent, but the style of Rockstar Games, and all the general reference to Carpenter's Escape from New York made the game at a higher level than just a brainless killing game.
Postal has all this violence, but whitout any real content behind it...
That's awesome.. I remember playing this as a kid!
I just bought it out of curiosity and played for a while now, it probably would be a fun game if the controls weren't totally horrible. Running and Aiming ( =turning your character in the general direction of the "hostiles") with the keyboard is way too slow, so you have to run by clicking right MB and shoot with left MB which sounds not bad but in practice is absolutely unprecise and just not fun.
So please release Crusader: No Regret, Crusader: No Remorse or Syndicate soon :)

"Age requirements: ESRB Mature 17+ (Animated Blood and Gore, Animated Violence), PEGI 18+ (Drugs, Violence)"
According to many so called experts, you have to be mass murderer right now :D (are you?)
