Daedolon: I know Phantasmagoria 2 doesn't have it, so...

michaelleung: Okay, I just Googled it and apparently it's a game called Softporn Adventure.
Um, GOG, could you get that on here?

First off, its a text game, so its no where near as interesting as the title or cover picture suggest, secondly, its already legally available for free:

A porno text game that's... softcore. Um, yeah, that works.

Do I sense a door being locked?

All I can say is that nerds must have been a lot more desperate back then.
One of the best adventure games of the FMV era, I still own the original 5CD release. Always nice to see something like this make it to GOG! Now on to Phantasmagoria 2 to finish the series.

Hey, AOL was successful for a reason back then.
PHANTASMOGORIA!!!!! (Said like the Spoony One)
I'm excited about this one. I really wanted to try this one back in the day but my parents would have killed me. Now I'll finally get to try it!
I simply love phantasmagoria 1 and 2!!!! This one is a bit easy though (although the first time i had some trouble with the endgame). I replayed 1 two months ago and i am replaying 2 at the moment. BUT if you are not into these FMV adventures then these will not change your mind i think....
EDIT: since it is a bit of a short game and nothing really happens in the first chapters I feel i must say that i think 9.99 is a bit on the high side. 5.99 would have been better IMO

That's about the only reasonable explanation for AOL's success, really.
I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play this (and 2?) as I missed out on them the first time around.

Yes, especially after GK1 which I consider far superior was $5.99.
