Wow I was like "what the hell is this" until I realised it was Streetwars :p Wasn't Streetwars the more common name for this game?

Here, yes. I only found it curious the GOG staff used the US title.
Maybe they got the overseas version from Kalypso.

LooZ: Uh, it's fine, but i'm a little disappointed about "Month of Activision".

I gotta admit, this is not really turning out the way I had envisioned from the descriptions of "month of Activision" + "19 new games in 28 days"... I'm also a bit confused, as this does not appear to be an Activision title. So, we've had 3 of 19 Activision games (~16%), but are now 9 of 28 days (~32%) of the way through the month. Hope things pick up...

Petrell: You're intentionally choosing weirdest games or what? ;) :P

No, only the weirdest names. I have that game on CD (here it is called Constructor: Underworld) and found it very difficult, though.
A glut of new games in quick succession during the mid-end of this month? Please, don't be doing that GoG, or we'll never hear and end to the whiny sods come next month! "Only 1 game a week, outrage!!"
A month where a game is released weekly as normal, the rights of which is owned by Activision. Good enough for me, if I were honest ^^
"I don`t like it, I would prefer Total Annihilation"
wrong topic

LooZ: They did not tell that they will add 19 Activision games in February, but that they've got 19 games prepared. Activision month does not mean just Activision releases.
As far as I remember, ve've already had Kalypso month some time ago... or Revolution Software, heh, something like that...

Month of Activision isn't quite living up to the premise yet. I assume they are keeping back some bigger titles for later, probably a couple of $9.99 ones. Unusual to see so many $5.99 games in succession. To be honest with 'International Rob the Pockets of Couples day' coming up soon, I don't want to be tempted with any big releases. I'm already worried what my bank balance will look like after Sunday :(
It would be a lousy business strategy to give us all the best titles first. No, they're doing it the right way:
- give us two big titles to kick off the month and get our attention
- then give is decent but lesser known games for a few days
- then give is a bigger game
- then more lesser known games
- end the month with a "big bang" including a few big titles.
Patience is the word.
A lot of complaining about the game, it's actually really good.
If you liked the first Constructor you'll like this one as well. I especially prefered the mob theme of this one to the firstl.
I just love that the guy on the home page ad looks like Rorschach.
Interesting little game, thanks gog for releasing it here.

They did the same with VR Soccer/Actua Soccer, although that may have had something to do with licensing, I think the VR version didn't include actual teams while Actua did.

Well, I'd have expected them to release only Activision titles this month or what's the point of being called 'Month of Activision'? Two out of five so far have been other publishers titles.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Activision titles are pulling out their claws refusing to work properly on modern PCs and forcing GOG to pull out the backups, which happen to be non activision games.
At least we got a game today.
