DrIstvaan: OK, it's on the Pastebin now (for a day)! Thanks for the link!
(I hope it's not law infringement... If it is, please, someone from GOG let me know and I'll remove it.)

Magnus: Ahh, same stuff different readme. Thanks :) Almost made it a must buy (and 4th copy ;p )

You're welcome ;-). It looks like it's a GOG-version read me (judging by the Technical Support part).
Can we please get the typo corrected - The gamecard page has eddition and the forum name has eddition, there is only one d in edition.
You have quite a sharp eye ;-).
Indeed, it's so... I suppose they'll eventually get around to fixing it.

DrIstvaan: It's a pretty long document, so I'd rather not post it here. If you post your e-mail address, though, I can send it to you.
(Or I can post the "What the patch fixes" section.)
I haven't played much Master of Magic, but what I recall, it's like a fantasy-themed Civilization. If it is so, then no, it's not that much like Master of Magic, as here there's not so much emphasis on building buildings (even though it's an important aspect of the game).

JudasIscariot: Hmmm, do you get to capture units and use them against an enemy??
Still, given the fact that it is turn-based, I might actually pick this title up once money allows for it....

Just so long as you know that the battles are actually real time (though pausable at any time).

Sort of like Baldur's Gate ? :D

Exactly! You pause, give orders, resume, and watch the chaos that develops from there ;-).
EDIT: You can capture enemy champions, but not to use them against their former allies (IIRC), but to get information from them.

Well I'm sold but strapped for cash :(....
Hmm, I remember this game as well. As I recall, it was fun, but kind of limited in that the Main campaign (in which you get to play any one of 8 different factions in their quest to rule the world) was pretty much the same no matter which side you played. I also remember the combat being kind of slow and also fairly difficult, because I always got more favorable outcomes with the "auto-combat" button than I did by manually fighting. Whenever I DID manually fight, it was because victory required something more complicated than "get my guys to kill the other guys."
I never did finish the King Arthur campaign, either. Overall, I found the game a little unsatisfying.

Well, you can always use the Personal Wishlist ;-).
(Or, if you wish, I can gift it to you... And if you wish, you can return the favor some other day when you have cash. Sort of "Give a game, get a game", but without the surprise factor.)

Once I know I have a job lined up here, I just might take you up on that offer, my friend. At the moment, I have no idea what i will be doing and how much money I will be making. I don't mind repaying favors but I like being able to do so without taking an eon to do so in the first place :-).
(Unless somehow the game gets threatened with a pulling from the catalogue then I will definitely take you up on your offer :D)

OK, I'll be here if you wish to do so.
I'd just like you to be able to play this game :-).

Thanks :). Getting my work documents soon and then doing the whole networking thing after that. Seriously though, how the hell people from other countries find jobs in other countries is beyond me. I feel like a stranger in a strange land here :D.
Lords of Magic, one of my personal favorites!
Also, having the game loading directly from the hard drive must largely work around this game's main disadvantage: the frequent loading pauses. At least it must be considerably faster this time around.

I've been waiting for this one, thanks guys.
Does this mean we'll see the Civil War Generals series on GOG some time in the future? :)
