Heroes Chronicles is the pure essence of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, distilled and refined for more concentrated gaming goodness.

Heroes Chronicles contains the same genre-defining turn-based gameplay, but it has a bigger emphasis on experiencing a more complete story, and as a result the “one more turn”-factor is immense! Follow the steps of Tarnum, a barbarian who, upon hearing from a bard about a tale that barbarians were once ruled the continent of Antagarich, unites the savage tribes and wages war on everyone. This renegade has to serve the ancient Ancestors (the Barbarian gods) to redeem his soul in order to be permitted into the Paradise, the barbarian Valhalla.
Visit a plethora of places ranging from barren caves to lush jungles over the course of hundreds of centuries and several worlds. In the Elemental Plane, subjugate the Elemental Lords that want to conquer the real world. In the Underworld, deal with various powerful demons to retrieve a heroes soul--and more! Guide Tarnum through an epic story of struggle, success, defeat, and redemption, all in the awesome Heroes of Might and Magic universe.

This package contains all of the eight chapters of Tarnum’s saga for just $9.99!

Although I won't probably buy this one because I play HoMM rather casually, I think it's a good example of why I think of GOG as "Videogame Preservation Society" that is: if it exists, it has to be on GOG, and they will do what they can to make it so.
Kudos to GOG for the effort.

Nice release... how about a little HOMM sale, now? ;-)

Lexor: Maybe they just copied the list of chapters from my topic :D
You're evil! :>
They could fix it, though, it's a bit misleading, and not accurate. [ocpd kicks in] ;)
I totally forgot today's a new release day. And then I open GOG, and see THIS.

This is the first ever instabuy for me.
this is essentially a Heroes 3 Mission pack - I remember playing this a while back, its pretty fun and has even more Heroes of M&M goodness to sink your teeth into

Although I think that the price should have been 5.99 I think I'll just wishlist this for now and wait for a sale :)

I still have my 25 interplay games that I bought this week to get through....

But it contains 8 mission packs. I really can't see it for 5.99, it would be a waste for GOG and Ubisoft.

Plus isn't this the first time they've been sold in a bundle? all together I mean.

Arianus: Plus isn't this the first time they've been sold in a bundle? all together I mean.
There were two separated compilations to buy: 1-4 and 7-8.
Chapters 5 and 6 were free to download and you can run them if you have others.

1 to 4 were sold separately, and later bundled in one pack.

7-8 were released as The Final Chapters

The World Tree was offered as a free download when you bought two packs (from 1 to 4)
Fiery Moon was offered as a free download when you bought three packs (from 1 to 4)

Both The World Tree and Fiery Moon were not available for free download for years.

1-4 yes, that's what I meant. 1-4 bundle was called HC: Collectors Edition AFAIR.

5-6, I still have them downloaded somewhere on CD :D
The problem was I was missing rest of chapters in English :P
Yes! Glad to see this, very much!

Also, just another friendly reminded about the "Inc" developer typo so that it doesn't get missed.

ArbitraryWater: $10 for a glorified mission pack seems a little too rich for my blood at some point. But that's what sales are for, right?
Back then they were sold individually (well, four of them, at least) for about... 30 bucks each, I think. As mission packs go this is a steal. :)
Nice, though they should have had a promo for the HofM&M games; then you would have a sale.
