Bad attempt to troll. Fantastic response. Interesting game.
I played this a few years back but near the start I had problems. Something about towing a mining station to a nearby moon/planet. The game crashed/froze/station blew up or something (I can't remember what) - I just couldn't get any further. Which was a shame as the gameplay was fun.

Man, I cannot think of the last forum I tried posting at where I did not have register.

We experienced this problem initially, however the version now available in our release was no longer susceptible to this bug. :)
Ok, I'm sold...
Never played or heard of this game before GOG. It looks interesting enough though so I think I may buy it.
10 $ is a bit to expensive

Meh, with all shipping and crap it'll probably cost more than $6,30 for me and others.
I don't mind paying a little extra to have the game without drm, that way I can be reasonably sure I can always play it, even if whatever OS I use doesn't support the deprecated copy protection anymore, unlike the starforce protected games and 64bit OS's - nightmare.

Good one!
Don't you wish to add this to the "You're a gogger if..." list? :-)
Not a bad game, but its pretty unbalanced. Once you've got a large planet with some defence upgrades its almost impossible to capture. The script is badly written and the plot is poor but how many space RTS are there? Not many, so its worth a shot just for that imo. Have not played the expansion, maybe thats better. Homeworld 1,2 and that standalone expansion are much better in almost every aspect, so get them first.

Well Play.com in the UK has the gold edition down as £60 second-hand.
Besides, since i'm running vista 64 I would glady pay GOG a little extra for a version which is tested and works on my OS.

That is true, but I would still have to risk problems with my OS and pay for delivery, thats if these Marketplace sellers even deliver to the UK. The best case scenario would be a saving of no more than a few pounds, for a product that may not function properly on my computer and could have crippling DRM measures.
The simple fact is, I trust GOG.com and support what they are trying to do. Their prices are reasonable and they provide the kind of purchasing experience I want. They treat their customers with a great deal of respect which harvests a certain sense of loyalty and community.
