Finally, a fighting game on GOG.com! And not just any fighting game, but Guilty Gear X2 Reload, the best version of the very best game of its kind for the PC!

In the age of 3D fighting games Guilty Gear X2 proves that 2D ain't dead yet. Featuring complex fighting mechanics, extremely appealing, colorful visuals, over 20 characters, many gameplay modes, and a lot of moves and combos, this game won't disappoint any fan of the genre.
The characters are by far the most prominent of Guilty Gear's many features. This goes for the entire series and X2 is no exception. An insane surgeon with a huge scalpel and a paper bag on his head. An innocent-looking girl with two wings - an angel for one and the grim reaper for the other. A cute pirate girl that fights using an anchor bigger than she is... If that's not unique, we don't know what is!
Because of its many distinctive qualities, and an over-the-top cast, the Guilty Gear spawned many Internet memes, most notably Bridget. Don't you think she's cute? If you don't know the correct answer yet, though, maybe it would be better if you don't find out.

That'd be Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core Plus. Unfortunately, it's not on PC. Only Guilty Gear X, X2 #Reload, and Isuka are on PC, suffice it to say that GOG made the obvious choice here.

The readme file included with the game. It references Guilty Gear Isuka for some reason...

RetroVortex: Still my arcade stick for the old xbox has been broken for quite a while, and I do have a 360 one that I need to use more, so its another instabuy from me. :D
I have a Hori EX2 for the 360 which I'm using to play Guilty Gears X2 without any problems.

Great to know since thats the exact same one I have! :D
The only fighting games I ever got into are Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, think I'll pass....
Shouldn't the headline read "Guilty Gear X2 Sharp Reload" or "Guilty Gear X2 #Reload"?

serpantino: No move list? That sucks a bit as the manual only lists the basic key configuration. Granted I could search for them but it seems like the kind of must have extra for a GOG game.
Acculy if you go to Training Mode and hit start, you'll be able to find the move list.

I know, :) same as if you hit pause. I'd just prefer a printable set.

Sounds like a GOG community project to me :P

WBGhiro: this looks... japanese.
Arc Systems Works stepped into the void left by SNK who were bought by Playmore. The King of Fighters still exists but Samurai Showdown/Spirits and Fatal Fury have been shelved. In a few short years Guilty Gear and it's sequel BlazBlue have become some of the most popular arcade fighting games in Japan.

I wonder how long it will be before we get a Capcom Vs Arc? A man can dream...
Does guilty gears x2 reloaded support widescreen? If not, what are the avalable resolutions.
Does guilty gear X2 support widesceen? If not, what are the avalable resolutions. Thanks

It stretches to your resolution. It looks fine on my 22" 16:10 monitor. I think the game's native resolution is 640x480 or 800x600
