Finally, a fighting game on GOG.com! And not just any fighting game, but Guilty Gear X2 Reload, the best version of the very best game of its kind for the PC!

In the age of 3D fighting games Guilty Gear X2 proves that 2D ain't dead yet. Featuring complex fighting mechanics, extremely appealing, colorful visuals, over 20 characters, many gameplay modes, and a lot of moves and combos, this game won't disappoint any fan of the genre.
The characters are by far the most prominent of Guilty Gear's many features. This goes for the entire series and X2 is no exception. An insane surgeon with a huge scalpel and a paper bag on his head. An innocent-looking girl with two wings - an angel for one and the grim reaper for the other. A cute pirate girl that fights using an anchor bigger than she is... If that's not unique, we don't know what is!
Because of its many distinctive qualities, and an over-the-top cast, the Guilty Gear spawned many Internet memes, most notably Bridget. Don't you think she's cute? If you don't know the correct answer yet, though, maybe it would be better if you don't find out.
HEAVEN
OR
HELL

Not a huge fan of it, but it's really quite a novel game in itself.
Not a fighting game fan at all but I love the animation look... I would almost buy it just for that.

Almost.

Krankor: GOG Team, for awareness. I've downloaded the soundtrack (twice) and there appears to be some corruption in the archive (track 13 doesn't unpack). Thanks.
I am getting the same problem.
Happy for those it makes happy!
Though from my humble point of view, I remain clueless at how games looking like that could appeal to people above 8 years old. Apparently, that's just me who doesn't get it :)

Ditto. Track 13 not unpacking from the archive.
Cannot decide. For the first set of hands, on the one hand I love fighting games, but on the other, most fighting games are horrible POS. The second set has love of this style of art and dislike of what style of gameplay this style of art usually entails. Does anyone know if there's a demo? Maybe buried somewhere so deep a quick googling couldn't discover it?
If someone has played it, I'd like some info on mechanics. Comparisons with MK and SF are welcome.
I cry tears of joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUILTY GEAR X2 RELOADED!?!?!?!? I am in love. With GOG. Forever.

Marry me?

P.s. Instabuy.
I'll probably buy this later today. It is freakin' Guilty Gear and I never had the oportunity to own a legal copy of it before.

Also, fighting games are good time killers. XD

Too bad Accent Core plus never came out on the PC. It is the final version of GGX2 after all.
Although I have the boxed version I'll buy it here as well. It's the best 2D fighting game you can play on PC (aside from emulators). Great job GOG!

All fixed now, sorry about that.
Love these games and Balzblue on the PS3 so instant buy for me. However after playing I realised there doesn't seem to be any way to exit the game, the quit option on the main menu just sends you back to the 'push start' screen. To exit I have to use the windows key and then manually close the game from the task manager. I know its not GoG's fault but does anyone have any ideas or know if I'm missing something?

Firek: Time to dust off the ol' arcade stick and learn me some mechanics, I guess... :)
Then you will discover Bridget is a man and probably change that all too revealing screen shot of him :P
Where is the related forum?
