Krankor: I think I just need to setup a monthly direct debit for all new Gog.com releases.
avatar
Aliasalpha: Monthly? Weekly is what I'd need, I'm averaging a new game every 6 days at the moment
avatar
Krankor: I also need help....
I refreshed the GOG.com page about 30 times already today.

I might be able to write you a script that automatically refreshes the browser window every 90 seconds...

LOL!

Patience is a virtue :)
I do have to ask: Why was the European title used instead of the American one? Just out of curiosity, not because I prefer one over the other..
Small error too:
When you go to the Games Catologue, there is no title/price listing for Gorky 17 in the "Latest Hot Releases" section...

Uuu, uuu, Crazy Czech Person will guess!
Because Poland is in Europe!

My best guess is due to the fact that Gorky 17 is the "official original" name.
America has a tendency to change game names, god knows why.
I haven't tried this game yet, but it sounds fun :) *buys*
Finally bought.
Played it for a bit.
Ecery bit as awesome as I remember.
But I have some graphical corruptions! :(
When the camera zooms in, it is the most visible. Also, some grey lines sometimes appear over the picture.I have GTX280, 182.08 drivers and XP.I used direct3D settings, have not tried software yet (it would probably fix it, but look worse).

Didn't I revoke your Slavic powers in IRC??
No wait you took them back AARGH!!
I could actually try this one out: the setting seems interesting and I've been missing a good sci-fi RPG lately :)
Also, you guys seem to recommend it so...another one for me :D
Started playing too great game so far but i too am having graphical glitches in hardware modes my characters seem to disapear except for their boots yipes. works ok in software mode though
I have a czech original for many years. Really amazing game, but unfortunately it worked fine only on my old TNT2 pro graphic card. On modern computers with modern nVidia or ATI graphic cards I allways saw that many parts of characters, monsters and of some other objects just missing, so it's unplayable for me!
Did GOG fix that problem in their version?
It's Odium not Odi-um. The dash in the title is the same reason there is an accent over the O ... it was written to look like a dictionary entry on the title. Underneath it said "n. def - hate coupled with disgust."
Odium was fun. It was weird playing a FFT-style grid-based tactical RPG on PC, but fun nonetheless.
