i bought the game earlier today, havent downloaded yet, but YEAH! i WANT THE GIBBERISH DISK VERSION! its what makes goblins goblins! so please gog, if there is any way to get that from the publisher make it so
Edit: i did just try them out. acutally the voice version is also kind of fun. but the gibberish is still edged into my brain. i literally can do most of the gibberish lines and still use them sometimes on my bro after all these years.

Cool, I hope they will release Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth next. .
I loved playing this series when I was younger. I just bought a copy for myself and another for my boyfriend since he never got to try 'em :)
This game is definately on my wish list!
(Even more so if both a floppy and a disc version are available, (I'd love to be able to play it on the go on my phone! :D))
Interesting release. Goblins was one of those series that I always knew about (saw screenshots of it in early PC gaming magazines etc.) but never got a chance to try out back in the day. Might add to my wishlist, even though I'm not a puzzle fan.

THIS!
Exactly my experience. I'm going to buy those. Thanks for doing your job well, GOG.
I remember getting stuck early when I played these originally. Maybe I am smarter now?
Probably not...

Perhaps, but you can always use the included 'hintbooks' ;-)
One more vote for the gibberish version!
In any case... great add! And great price. I grabbed it immediately.

same here - when i noticed gobliiins pack i was like 'great - now but when we'll get Woodruff ?'
i dont know anything about G4 so i'm not aware if it's good game. it's not old game - that's for sure ;)
Wow, I didn't see this coming :-D
I was happy to see the Goblins Pack as the new release when i logged on today. It was one of the games i was hoping to see here. I almost instantly purchased the game with out looking at any posts about it. Causiously I read the posts and my elation disapeared once i found out it was not the Gobblins i was hoping for. Now i will have to take a while to decide if i will buy this version :-(
hope to see the gibirish version in the future

Aliasalpha: These came out on PC? I always thought these were amiga exclusive.

And it was quite successful too, or so I'm told. I'm not into adventure games much, but this is like an ultra major release. I'm happy to see better older games here.

StarEye: Uhm, do this have different music from the original trilogy, and did Gobliins 2 always give such obvious hints whenever you did something? Like,I tried picking up the bottle with both guys, and one guy said I had to distract them, and the other guy said I had to make them laugh.
I mean, I can't remember getting such obvious hints in the original by default. I don't want hints. And I miss the original music, it was much better.
Edit:: Darn.it seems that the version we get is the CD version, which have actual speech and not the funny gibberish they used to have. Also, it seems the CD version had completely different music from the disk version - which in my opinion is far superior.
So, GOG.com release - CD version. I wish we had the choice between disk and CD version.

What? Help in a Gobliins without the Joker function? I'm out if one is unable to turn it off!!

Lafazar: This is amazing. These games are one of my most pleasant childhood memories.
Thank you so much, GOG team.
I have one little request for GOG: Can we get BOTH the CD versions as well as the floppy versions? The floppy versions have a completely different MIDI soundtrack that has a few quite awesome tracks. It would be really REALLY great if we could choose between the CD version and the floppy versions.
Pretty please? The floppy versions are really really tiny compared to the CD version and also fully compatible with ScummVM, so if there are no legal problems, there should be no technical problem either... :-)

And the French version too btw??? It contains some jokes and puns who couldn't be translated properly into the international english version
Thank god I still got my french version of Gobliins 2 on my PC... But hope to get the other one's too
