Being the latest, but hopefully not the last, part of the Gabriel Knight saga. Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned fills many gaps left in the wake of its prequels and is a must-have for any fan of the series.
Gabriel Knight 3 is a 3D point-and click adventure game. While the classy 2D graphics, or the well-orchestrated FMV sequences of its predecessors may be missed, fared the transition from 2D to 3D very well. The primary upside is that the in-game environments are now more interactive and open to exploration, much like in the newer Tex Murphy games. The storyline is as deep and complex as ever, filled with dark secrets and unfathomable conspiracies. Four years after GK2, Gabriel Knight - the Schattenjäger - is pitted against a breed of evil he has never faced before, when an exiled prince asks him to protect his newborn son from what appear to be vampires...
The series is complete! Hooray for Gog!
If anyone has any doubts, and you really shouldn't by now, GK3 is just as good as the other two; also, without any doubt, the Le Serpent rouge sequence is one of the finest puzzles ever created in the genre. If you've never played this game, it's a must.

True love.
Now that it's complete, I'm waiting for a pack! ;)
Ahh, only just started GK1. But, seeing as I can now have the complete set, I should do so.
I like 2D and FMV, so the first two in those styles was a bonus. I tend to dislike 3D games in this genre. They're not all bad, but I've not found many that transition well. Still, Though I've only just looked a little at the first (not having the time to play properly), I probably should grab this if the story/puzzles keep up with the other two.
I really need to finish the first one. Once I do, then I'll buy the other two =)
Looks like the Activision month will never end! yay!
Very nice :)
I just hope they have used Collectors installer from Sierrahelp.com

stonebro: True love.

No it's not that game. ;-) :-P j/k
Great price, great game!
Have too much to play at the moment, but if there's ever a pack weekend I know I'll grab it!
Only thing that really bothered me in this game was that awful timed jumping sequence at the very end that led straight into end-game. I'm horrible at jumping puzzles and timing and having to go through that every time to get to end game (and die) was very frustrating. Finally found I could save while about to finish the puzzle and then on re-load I had about a 50% chance of dying or finishing the puzzle - a lot better than having to go through that pain again.
Overall, the game was a good game. The mystery unfolded in an interesting way and not all timed sequences were bad, though you could miss some scenes along the way because of them, you didn't miss the main plot.
I was really looking forward to a fourth game - disappointed that it never came about.
One of the best adventures ever made. The 'Le Serpent Rouge' is one of the best puzzles ever! The voice-acting of Gabriel however is dreadfull.
We all knew it was coming. I'm glad it's here now.
GOG does it again, awesome!

How dare you? It's Tim Curry! The greatest actor in the history of acting, ever!
Seriously, though, I know everyone has their own opinion, but Tim Curry is Gabriel Knight to me. The actor in The Beast Within wasn't bad at all, but compared to the other two games, he's just... flat.
