If you like comic books, especially those about superheroes, you're bound to enjoy this title.
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/freedom_force_vs_the_3rd_reich]Freedom Force vs The Third Reich is a real-time tactical role-playing game in which you lead a group of superheroes against the forces of evil. The game is packed with style, including a melodramatic storyline full of heroism and plot twists. There are many unique characters, each with his or her own story presented in the form of a narrated comic strip and each with unique superpowers. The gameplay mechanics are easy and approachable, but still complex enough, with many skills to choose from and the ability to use your surroundings to your advantage, like throwing a car or tree at the bad guys. Golly jeepers, does that sound swell or what?
Yay! I was afraid we wouldn't get any games today. And what a nice price too, very tempting.
Damn, got beaten to the first post :(
Ironically, I have the boxed version of this, but I never ever installed it out of fear of Starfuck. So I might actually get this on GOG during a promo.
The first and this game always caused problems getting them to run properly. The first is the worst though so that may be why we get the second instead.
Nice price. Not sure if this is my kind of game, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.
Nice addition, even though the game is already available (not to mention cheaper!) on competing digital download services...

Thank you very much, mysterious stranger!
damn, someone beat me to it XD who is this wishingwell guy anyway? Giving away free games like it's christmas.. I like it though, makes releases even more exciting ^_^
Also, I will be getting this soon (if not tonight). I've been resisting the urge to buy it somewhere else for a long time now..

i'll buy it when the first one comes out. i hate to play sequels without having played the original.
I have my boxed retail copy and it still works great on modern OSes, so this is a no go for me, but everyone who does not already have it should get it, it's a brilliant title.

There's a story recap right in the beginning, and the game is not exactly story-heavy: it's as cliche'ed as it goes (intentionally), so you are not losing much.
For Freedom!! For Justice!!! ^--^
