Being evil feels so good. Get a chance to choose the dark side and try being as bad as you can in this great strategy.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/dungeon_keeper]Dungeon Keeper is the revolutionary RTS with a twist: you’re not the good guy. Each level, your ultimate goal is to defeat the local hero that comes to end your reign of the underworld. Discipline your minions, construct fiendish traps, and slaughter the witless forces of good while you enrich your coffers and prove that you are the ultimate bad guy. The dark humor of the game will keep you in stitches, but the real treat is the refreshing nature of playing as the bad guy. You’re not the one rescuing the princess, you’re the one imprisoning her! Now it’s your turn to conquer the world, and don’t let the generic hero stop you!
I have the original DK and the Deeper Dungeons Expansion.
If GOG had included the expansion, I would have bought it just to have a backup but no Deeper Dungeons No Sale. I am very dissapointed in GOG over this.

gamebin: GoG needs a $2.99 price point for expansions. No Gold Edition ='s no sale. Otherwise, good release.

Isamael: Or they could just, you know, keep adding the expansions to the original release for free like they have been doing continuously for two and a half years. This was released TODAY. Give it some time, and use that time to celebrate this great release and the hard work they put into making it happen.

Cheer up, buttercups
Most GOG games are released with the expanisons. That GOG has not done this with DK is disaapointing. GOG messed up, frankly, and I will not reward them for that.

Wishbone: DUNGEON KEEPEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew, it was good to get that out of my system.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to say that I'm quite disappointed in this release. This fantastic game certainly deserves better. I already have the disc release of DK Gold, so the fact that Deeper Dungeons isn't included in this feels like a letdown. Also, I was really hoping that the Windows version would be released. There is already no problem in getting the DOS version to run under any OS, but the Windows version is impossible to get running under Win7 64.
Great minds think alike.
When GOG gives us the expansion, I will buy it. Until then I have the original and the expansion disc.

Some people are just really ungrateful...

But yeah, I'm glad this is here. I've heard good stuff about it, and I just might get it some day.
Please tell me this uses DOSBox...

If you are so 'grateful,' then you should buy it now at full price so GoG gets more support and money.

I'd say so because the windows executable on this game is effed up.

BTW, Deeper DUngeons was released for both the Dos and Windows version of the game, so incompatiblity was not a reason for Deeper Dungeron not showing up.

Obviously, we agree it's a licensing issue. I enjoyed playing Deeper Dungeons, so I'd want it included in the package.

I'm interested in the series, but no gold edition and no mention of the sequel?

Yeah, I'll wait.
Awww man. I was so pumped to buy this but I don't want the DOS version.

I believe I saw a post somewhere about someone getting the windows exe working on here.

keeveek: It's not the case of us not having the addon, but we didn't add it due to legal/licensing issues.
Guess we cant expect support for the expansion any-time soon.

Give it time, GOG knows what the community wants and will track down what the community demands. Just look at other games where this has been the case - games even get remastered (circle of blood series) and they release the remastered versions FOR FREE to those who already bought the game.
ok, I've just redeemed my first 5,99USD code :)

it's time to slap some imp!
Thank you GOG!....you just made my day!

I meant that it seemed that there were a lot of people who wanted this game, but when GOG finally released it, they seem to complain that it isn't exactly what they wanted.

But, I do see how my post was, in a slight way, hypocritical, and I apologize for my slightly snarky comment.
$6 for DK. That's a bargain in my book.

I hope I'm better at it than I was all those years ago.
