Loonie: Ah, good to know. I found JonoF's engine worked fine as was and hadn't bothered to check for updates. Nice to know someone's still carrying the torch.

Yeah, I know EDuke32 from modding, since it gives modders access to previously hard-coded features and stuff like Detail and Glowmaps (HRP uses them, for example). For non-modders, it still has everything JonoF's port has, plus more basic functionality and bugfixes.

Loonie: Though it's still worth noting that JonoF has a version of his engine for Shadow Warrior.

Yeah, it's sad that he stopped working on his ports, since it's pretty much the best SW port around, even though it was last updated in 2005.
Nice.. kind of expected but still very nice.
Is there hope for some exclusive Duke Nukem Forever screenshot as bonus ? :-)

Haha, don't count on it... :D Would be too good...
If I didn't have such a long backlog of games that I have yet to play I'd be all over this.
Despite having this on emulator and on my 360 already, I feel very compelled to purchase this amazing game once again.
Keep up the good work, GOG.com. Here's hoping you guys manage to convince Ubisoft to re-release the Might & Magic games.
I just noticed that gametrailers.com has a video up advertising this on sale at GOG. Nice! I won't go so far as to say this is going to sell as good as Fallout, but I think people are going to be all over this. Duke's a classic and it's not like Duke Nukem (takes) Forever is comin' out any time soon.
Omg,epic games from my childhood. :D
Ok,Duke is legendary game but don`t forget great Rise of the triad and Blake Stone.
This games are also good.
Btw i playing DN3D without this High Resolution Mod,i prefer 2D monsters and other stuff. :)
But i using eDuke32 of course. :)

Good old games! Now we're talking!
Heh, it's already on top of the weekly bestsellers list. So either it's sold very, very well, or the other games have sold pretty poorly... let's hope for the first alternative.

I think this topic alone helps prove the former.
LUVIT!!!
Is there a way how to map strafe on left and right arrow ? It would be great, with mouse aim I'm missing spare hand to press ALT :-)
You can map keys in the default game
By the way you guys have to try the DNWMD mod. Despite what I initially thought of it as - another "fun" mod that has pew pew boom boom weapons with lots of big explosions and no regard for balancing at all - it's not. It's absolute hours of fun. There are some balancing issues here and there - the vampire kick is waaaay to powerful, default quick kick is totally useless, the shrinker's alternate fire is horribly unbalanced - but overall, you'd be having too much fun to care about these issues
Plus, playing LA Meltdown on DAMN I'M GOOD spawns a battlelord right at the beginning of Hollywood Holocaust = epic win
