I'm thinking about buying it. Is it worth 10 bucks?
I'm not sure this game belongs to Good Old Games.
It's not Good, it's not Old ... at least it's a Game :)
In that case, a lot of the games on GOG.com don't belong here. :)
It's the third best Driver game. Driver 1 is the best, Driver 2 is good, Driv3r was drifting between good and horrible (hey I had great fun with it and the physics were excellent), and this one is decent.
Also, last I heard, another Driver is coming, and appearently it's back in Reflections' hands, which this game and Driver 76 wasn't. Hopefully, it'll stay true to the original two - they should focus on the driving aspect, and not try and blend all that other shitty stuff in it to try and compete with GTA.
gog = good OLD games Isn't it?
Back to the roots please.
Give us some stuff from the mid 80s to the end 90s, or early 2000s. Driver 4 on PC is from 2007, nobody needs a 3 year old (crappy) game which can still be bought for 5 bucks at any electronics store..

A friend who worked for Ubisoft told me at the time of Parallel Line's release that a new Reflection Driver was in progress. Unfortunately, it did not reach far, mainly for two reasons:
- greedy Ubisoft
- lazy Reflection (the guys were apparently working VERY VERY slowly...)
Still hope to see a new Reflection Driver though, and a good one, I mean a "real" Driver and not some sort of mix between Driver and GTA...

Coincidentally, it's in the 'news' today; Development in progress is confirmed, and the scheduled release is 'fiscal year 2011'.
So... where's the new publisher? I wanna play System Shock 2. :D

rewsan: I'm rubbish at driving games, I couldn't even get past the initiation in the car park in Driver 1.

That was notoriously the hardest part of the whole game. =p

Nice!
Hey gog what about releasing more Ubisoft games that are actually good, i am still waiting for the splinter cell series and the brother in arms games. I didn't buy them on Steam during their holiday sale because i was waiting for them to appear here.

Not played this one. I'd give it a spin at $5.99, but $9.99 for a game that's not particularly good or old seems a bit much (like many of the ubisoft games).
I think a lot of people would find Driver1 rather bad now. I agree it was fun at the time, but even then the fact that the entire city was a grid, with no curves, used to annoy me.
Midtown Madness was a much better game than Driver 1, because the cities felt more real and were more fun to experiment in.
I actually rather enjoyed Driv3r... at the same time as wanting to smash the cd into pieces and send it to the developers with death threats. When driving it felt awesome.... when getting stopped because you clipped a lamp-post 15 minutes into a mission, for the 150th time.... not so good.
I kinda feel that if we're gonna start putting 2007/2008 games on here (which i don't mind), they should at least be good ones, or unsung classics. Not just very average games.

Didn't you ask for good games?
j/k, but remember that not everyone likes what you do and what you dislike may be loved by others.
Nice to see new stuff from UbiSoft. It's not heroes chronicles, but it's a good sign! :)

I am having a hard time picturing someone asking for Driver: Parallel Lines to appear here on gog, from what i read this game is passable at best.
this game came out in 2k7, this is the newest game on GOG!
