wahoo! I remember playing this to death....
payday next week and my birthday too - time to beg the wife ^^
oh man. i had that game. original version bought soon after release. It has to be a decade since the last time i played it.
thank you gog. will buy it soon. now no money :D and too many games from sales.
I remember playing this game. Lots of fun.
Street wars, its successor was also quite a bit of fun.
Nice release GOG, I bet too, that a lot of people don't know this game/weren't expecting it. :)
I've played Constructor: Street Wars only (from those old magazines, bundled with a CD of demos, sharewares), and IIRC it was already on windows. Now it's time to play the first game, on DOS.
Somehow I've associated the comic part on this game with the Tropico games, and I remember that there is another isometric game like this, about gangster management but a serious one, maybe it is the first Mafia game.
EDIT: no, it isn't Mafia, it's already 3D.

Gangster: Organized Crime

That's the game. And there is a sequel. Both Gangsters games weren't well accepted by critics, but they were complex, so it may appeal some people.
Browsing the dev. I saw that they developed another not so famous game, Abomination: The Nemesis Project.
But these games aren't on par with the quality bar seen on Tropico, I think.
This game made my friend join GoG! :P Good work guys!:>
And it's developed by System 3!;)
And since I'm in my Tangerine mood, this makes me want to play The Last Ninjas all over again.. and again.. ;P
But first, let's see what this one has to offer. But man, Hope READING the manual ain't that important, manuals are spoilers!:D
Hey! They made IK+ !!! I loved that game!

The first Gangsters game was a blast. Very addictive! Sure, the realtime part was a bit poor but it was still great and with a good atmosphere to it. I wish they still made strategy games like that ...

I absolutely agree! Gangsters was one of my favorite games back in the day.
May the press say what ever they wish, it was a great game for those who could get accustomed to its interface and gameplay.
This seems like a game to watch on the wish list.

OK then, glad you two guys like it. I won't change 2 GOGer's opinions for 1 critics review.
The mix between real-time and turns interested me, but I didn't played it much back in the day as I had access only to the demo (and the same for Abomination), then I can't write an opinion on the full game.
Anyway, looking forward to Street Wars here too, together with Constructor.
Sold!! I hope we'll see more games from system 3 on gog in the future.

I wonder if They'll add WinVice or CCS as the emulator.;P

It got good reviews in Europe though. I think it's culture-influenced as well since certain parts of the world seemed to like it better than others.
