everyone is a critic :)
No one forcing you to buy this game.

I never claimed that anyone was.
Just because a game isn't Five Stars doesn't mean it's not interesting, have any historical value or isn't worth buying.
In this case, the Blood series is a vein (chortle) of first person shooters that I missed back "in the day" and it's fantastic of GoG to finally give me the chance to mop up this little loose end, even if it's not the greatest game I've ever played.
you misunderstood my post :)
it was for the "critics"
I own both chosen and nightmares in crystal cd's. Ouch it was expensive, didn't thing that GOG come through to it in time. I like this game very much and didn't consider to compare it to Blood. I hope that Kurt will finish his work (no, I'm not begging for time, only for finishing his big project) to give a new fun for playing this very good gem with his version called Blood 2 Resurrection to fin d here: http://www.blood2r.com
Most of the game stopping bugs were cleared up with patches, but the problem of Bad AI,uninspired level design, a bad choice for setting (going futuristic was a bad mistake, they should have stuck with the retro fell that Blood had), the enemies are not nearly as interesting,.make the game still a huge dissapointment.
Given that, I just bought it to give it another whirl. Yes, it is vastly inferior to Blood and was not worth the 40 bucks it cost when it came out, and is certainly not worth the Horrid prices it brings on the used game market, but it worth Six Bucks.
That is one of the nice things about GOG; you can try a game that is borderline and if you don't like it your are only out six bucks..about half of what a movie ticket costs in a major city nowdays........
A lot of the problems was that it was one of the first games designed with the first version of the Lithtech engine. and it shows.
Luckily, when No One Lives Forever came out, a lot of work had been done on the Lithtech engine, and it was very stable. .I run the original CD version on my modern computer with no problems whatsoever. Still, I would like to see it on GOG,just to revive one of the greatest FPSers ever made, and which never had the huge sucess it deserved.

Heh, I'm plenty critical of Blood 2 ;)
this game is great, it's not like the first one but it has his own style. There are no games like this one today and the ones talking bad about it probably never played it
I told you gog don't release blood 2, it can't exactly be called a Good game. But more titles in the catalog can only be great at least. : )
Wo0t @ Blood 2 joining GOG. Awesome.

Awesome game. One of my all time favs. If it turns up on GOG anyone who hasn't played it really needs to give it a try.
Bough this game together with the Blake Stone games, Rise of the Triad and Postal 2. Hell yeah. I hope Wolfenstein 3D and the classic Doom games will find their way to GoG's doorstep one day too =)
This thread has too few comments from me, so here we go!
Thanks a lot for this, GOG, since it's a known fact that Blood 2 tries to not work on XP/Vista/7 very hard, your release couldn't come at a better time.
