Why?! You should play it, it was fun. I used to think it was overrated but still decided to try it out for myself, and while I won't go and say it's the best thing on earth, with that and The Warriors I had a great summer.

Why did this have to be released on GoG, now I have to feel bad for not buying it again to show my appreciation.
This game is so awesome.

Just never got to it and probably bought it around or before one of my computer breakdowns. I have quite few games like that actually.
Lets see... Total War:Eras (the big box of most TW games), X3:Reunion GoTY, Siberia 2 (got if for 1€ :P), Rally Trophy, Flatout 1&2, Max Payne 2 (used actually. Still, have never played), Combat Mission 1&2, Indebendence War 2, Silent Storm (again used, not played), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Hearts of Iron 1, Charriots of War, Legion, Europa Universalis III... I'm sure there are others I've packaged away already. There's even more I never finished. I have some 100 - 200 retail games in my collection (probably not 100% up to date).

Packaged? Are you moving or do you simply collect games? If I have a couple of games that I have actually bought (not that came in magazines) I make a point of not getting anything else until I've played them. As you may imagine, this way my collection is not that big as many other people, but it works for me! :)

Just to make space for new things mostly (and I need to be able to walk around my house you know :D and yes my apartment tends to be horrible mess :P) and yes I have strong collector mentality and rarely resell anything I've bought so things tend to add up :P (some 100+ VHS tapes, ~200 DVD's, some 100-200 PC games (these are funny now considering I gave away my TV... was it last month ?(We finns have to pay around 250€ per year for the privledge of watching TV) so I can't even play the VHS tapes anymore. My comp could run the DVD's but the drive is too loud), 100-200 Manga comic books, 10-12 31 litre plastic boxes of comics in strorage and tons of em in my room (would probably fill another 6-10 boxes), 100+ fantasy novels etc. etc. etc.

The port is pretty mediocre, but the game itself is simply astonishing and makes up for the lazy Ubisoft PC developers. Thanks!

I love this game so much. Great story and gameplay.
So sad the second installment will be a dumbed down console-only game. :(

Well, it doesn't have to be dumbed down. We'll see, I guess.

They are promising that the game will be as emotionally charged as the first one with characters that we care about.
I just hope they arent doing a Peter Molyneux and lying out of their arse. The concole only thing is really annoying though. however the game is in early enough development that might change though and I would like to think that with the sequel being developed right now that Ubisoft will be keeping an eye on how well the first sells on things like GOG. And if they aren't GOG shoud send them the sales reports and attach the list of reviews and entitle it:
GIVE US THE DAMNED GAME ON PC!!!!!
OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENNCES!!!!!

They said they where going to make it "easier", which gives me bad hopes. The first part was pretty easy, I'm not sure how they're going to make it even easier.
I just wish they would release it on the computer, I really loved the first part. Only few games have the story and characters that you really care about.
