After all these years, the soundtrack still rings in my ears ...

What a beautiful, beautiful game!
A question to this release: Is this the CD-ROM-Version WITH the Redbook-Audotracks?

Ta muchly.
HOORAY!
Yay, another RPG!
Haha! It looks like my moaning and groaning worked and GOG released BaK. Great game - I never played it in ancient times as I was Amiga owner then. So it is a must buy for me! Thanks GOG!

Aliasalpha: So is this the start of a prequel releasing trend? Kings/space quest 1-3 coming soon?

GOG might need more testing and configuring on older games, the way they have done for the Krondor series.
Ok is it the CD-Rom version complete with working soundtrack?
Anyone that already got it can confirm if it has the CD quality soundtrack?
Because using the old .iso you had to mount a virtual drive on dosbox to have the soundtrack working
By releasing this game officially like you guys now have done, you're giving Betrayal At Krondor the respect and dignity it truly deserves.
A thousand thanks GOG for bringing awareness to this fantastic game.
This really isn't a dream, this time?
Because last month, I had a dream where Betrayal as Krondor was available at GOG.
Great! Heard a lot about this game, never actually got the chance to try it!! I'll definitely buy it... when I'll have finished Arcanum and/or Gothic!!
Shrink, pile of not-yet-played games, SHRINK!!!
I am interested in this game. I never played it, but have read a lot of good stuff here about it. From the description, are there some books I should read before playing this game?
I'll probably buy it, but it should be noted that Sierra released this game for free years ago.
I feel a bit like a jerk for thinking this should be another freeware release from GOG.
I have the freeware release from years ago, a brasilian magazine released it then. It had a game stopping bug, I remember.
I've never played it quite extensively, but I have always liked it. It's main theme was and still is awesome.

Only the version they released as freeware was quite buggy, and it was the disk version. From the size on the page, I'd say that GOG is offering the CD version (with redbook music, hopefully).
