This is great news! I loved this game, I think I used to play it on my Amiga.

Zeewolf: Why they've never released any adventures here is anyone's guess, but I think it has to do with their own, overpriced adventure game shop.

Possibly, but if that was the case they wouldn't have put another world on here as that's $14.99 on their site too.

It could be an experiment to see whether it sells better here than on their own site.
Well, just finished the game. It's exactly a pixel-to-pixel, or better still a vertex-to-vertex remake of the original, with the same defects (crackling sound, damn crackling sound....) and high-res backgrounds.
The major difference seems to be an easier difficulty level. And I don't like the new ending ost btw :-P

So turn off remastered sound in the options :P.
Or switch the files in the music folder.

i remember this game, and not from any computer either.
look up 'out of this world' for super nintendo
never got past level 5 though, always got caught by the water
It got ported to just about evey computer and console available at the time. It was quite challenging and frustrating in parts, although nowhere near as difficult as the sequel (Heart of the Alien) which was only released on the Sega CD.

StarEye: You should try OnEscapee if you like Another World... it's free on the official website, or if you want to check out a video of the original Amiga version (they're basically the same), I found a youtube playthrough.

The official website is here: http://onescapee.invictus.hu/
I remember having trouble with the download for some reason (CRC check fails), but it's been a while. If it doesn't work, look it up someplace else. It's free so no reason to feel dirty if you don't download from there.

Download link doesn't work for OnEscapee. Do you know any alternative?
