Hey! Just consider it a two-tier game: first you play figure-out-the-game-mechanics and then you play the game itself! ;)
Edit: Ahh, but that thought brought back some good memories. I wish I still have time for that approach to gaming.
Also, TWW posted "now" and already redeemed. Damned, but someone was fast, or lucky.
Further edit: the forum editing code is broken when editing posts containing quotes. It's insisting to quote the entire post being edited.

Nothing escapes the damn near omnipresent Ralackk. :D Oh yeah, and let us know if this thing has a manual or not. I'm sure GOG just screwed up there.

Its been uncanny luck both times, literally away from the computer, come back hit refresh and theres wishing wells post with a posted now time stamp.
As for a manual theres nothing in the extras or the start menu but if you go into the games folder it has a readme.txt and a quickstart guide. The readme.txt just covers patch notes and some basic tech problems. The quickstart guide gives a what I imagine is basic overview of the game and controls. Not sure how big the manual for this game is normally but the quickstart manual only has 8 pages.
Apparently theres an ingame tutorial as well so hopefully it won't be too hard to figure out what to do. Heard great things about this game so I'm going to give it a go.

There is an 8 page quick start guide upon installing :) Not the most informative But... :) like I recall almost enough to not have had any problems thus far..
On a side note... I had alt tabbed out and closed the game out (lol i was running late) and it messed up my native desktop resolution no big deal just dont quit in ways that you know you arent supposed to....Also easy enough fix :)

Well, damn. I guess it's not some kind of mistake on GOG's part. Well, let's hope they get to wrangle some extras out of Triumph in the near future. They have done that for other titles after all.

Well, since Age of Wonders is a fantasy game the music is rather straight forward fantasy stuff, and doesn't utilize all the crazy stuff Impulse Tracker can do, so I suppose those work in Winamp, but in general I don't think Winamp even properly supports pitch bending in IT files or any other mod format.

Dammit! Can't afford it! I'll have to wait until the end of next week.
Guess I'll have to read the manual I got with the CD version and try to think up a new strategy until then.
