I wonder why GOG didn't include it with the game?

Well then, there it is. I actually hadn't checked those URLs yet, but their pricing makes sense to me. Activision's did not. Hence my comment. I look forward to their future releases with enthusiasm.

I thought could be that just after posting! They can't release anything without permission of course and maybe they still need to get it for AoW bonus stuff :] I'd love some AoW hi-res wallpapers

Come on, apart from the X-Quest games and Phantasmagoria, all of Activision titles are priced at six dollars. Compare that with Ubisoft's approach!

Well, GOG have a tendency to add bonus materials even after a game is released, so there's always a good chance of those wallpapers.

I've known about the upcoming Age of Wonders digital release for quite some time but it's still great news to finally see this amazing series becoming as readily available as this. I might go for the Impulse version of AoW1, though, since client-based services are more convenient than download-based ones for me personally. But it wouldn't surprise me if I ended up buying the stellar AoW2 from more than one place...
