It’s moments like these that remind me why people end up so disappointed about things.
You don't need to do this to yourself, this doesn't have to happen, just back away from the, outlandish, unreasonable excitations inducing theory and it will all be ok.

We know it will be Take Two and the first release will be GTAIV and many will say WTF?? GOG?

I actually think it'll be Take Two.

Y'see, they didn't just publish the GTA games, no. They also had a few imprints, such as Global Star Software... I can easily see them get 25 games just from them.

Actually I'm never disappointed as I hope for & think about the best while also acknowledging the worst.

Given the exceptions of Sensible Soccer 2006 and possibly Master of Orion 3 it's called GOOD old games. Take Two don't have that many good games.

I haven't played that one so didn't mention it. Hell Phatasmagoria 2 is a stinker as well but on the whole the catalog is a good one.

Yeah, previous comments and this announcement both reference a single publisher.

EA, Square/Eidos, Lucasarts and Take Two would have no trouble offering 25 titles a piece. No trouble at all. Microsoft... probably not 25 there, off the top of my head, but who knows.

Hoping for EA or LA is reasonable, considering it might be 3 of the big publishers by the end of the year I think we have a pretty good chance at the favorites. Hoping for all 5 in the announcement coming up is madness and just waiting for the giant, dream crushing, boot of reality to stamp on you without pity.

Battlehawks 1942, Afterlife, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Zak McKraken, Full Throttle, Loom, Night Shift, Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, The Dig, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, Sam & Max, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Rebel Assault, X-Wing/TIE Fighter, Armed and Dangerous, Grim Fandango, Galctic Battlegrounds, Empire at War, KOTOR, Shadows of the Empire, Thrillville.

Yeah they could get 25 games out of that list but that is assuming GOG will get every Lucasarts game and we know from the past just because a publisher signs it doesn't mean we get the full catalog. I still think GOG would struggle to get 25+ games from Lucasarts whereas Square Enix and EA could match the 25+ figure and just be scraping the surface.

Not saying I wouldn't like Lucasarts I certainly would, especially if it meant I could buy KOTOR2 again just so I don't have to install from 4cd's anymore.
