When the new publisher or publishers get announced the forum will go BOOOM! :/

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Also 1st
Attachments:
It always seems like it will, but it never actually does. The announcement thread might get a little explodey, but the forums in general will be fine.
Why? Many people will be happy about what we will get, some will be euphoric, some will bitch about how this or that sucks and that's it. It is just as nornal, only now in higher scale.

We'll get a new large bunch of forum members for one thing. That's not all bad but I'm still not over the latest wave.
It's more games on the GOG catalogue which is always a good thing regardless of what people's personal favourites are.

There of course will be butthurt over the announcement.

In the case of VR Soccer more games might not be a good thing after all......

I guess you could get butthurt if you in a rage tried to mash it by sitting on it.

As unlikely as it seems at least 3 people claim to have bought every game on GOG including VR Soccer. Poor old Kurina won the whole catalogue and some day she will make the mistake of installing it :)

While I do not yet own the whole catalogue, but I do own VR Soccer (and Simon the Sorcerer 3D, not Master of Orion 3 though). Make of that what you will, I haven't played either game yet.

Probably promos during times when I had money burning a hole in my pocket. Can't remember though so it might just as well have been drunk stupor. Or gremlins.

I agree with this, and add that there'll also be a bunch of posters saying "[game] shouldn't be $10, it's only worth $6" and "[game] isn't even worth the $6 asking price, it should be given away for free".
Hope the majority of posts will stay civil and at least say something good about the new arrivals.

I always assumed that's because people actually BUY AND PLAY the newly released games instead of announcing their excitement ;).
