That's probably what it's closest to, yes. The style is way different, but the gameplay is roughly similar in that you first have to figure out what it is you are supposed to do and then execute it, which is, more often than not, quite tricky.
You play a normal guy, without a gun, who can a) talk to his fellow workers, to do something for him and eventually get saved by our hero and b) possess other living beings (only one type in the first game, more in the sequel) and force them to do whatever he wants to. And like in AW, there is no life bar -- one shot and you're dead. And it is quite difficult, though less than AW, I'd say.
