Seeing as some of the new games (Legend of Grimrock, The Whispered World) have a price point of $14.99, I'm guessing we can expect more games with that price. But is that it, or are there more new price points? The news post about the site update completely fails to mention the new pricing policy.

So tell us GOG, what are the official price points now?

My guess is that they're leaving it deliberately ambiguous for the future, but I could be wrong.
On the GOG IRC, the TheEnigmaticT said no game will go above $15 for now.
IT might be a good thing, actually. For example, it makes bringing Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines possible.
They're deliberately ambiguous for newer games. Our focus is on flat, fair prices anywhere in the world. When you're signing up say 1 releases and preorders, you need a little more flexibility.

That said, we're still intending to stick with $5.99 and $9.99 for the price points for our classic games. Don't worry about that! :D

Thanks, TheEnigmaticT I was wondering it too. :)

So, will there be an age "limit" for a release before it turns into a GoG classic and drops to $9.99 category or is it case-dependent?

Would be nice to see a label or a symbol if the game is "AAA", "Indie" or "GoG" somewhere in the future.
Will the -20% for pre-orders stay the same, or does it depend on the publisher?

That's a shame, I feel a 7.49 would allow some more realistic pricing between some games that I don't quite feel are up there worthy to be 9.99 games but could be higher than 5.99 as well

Yes it would be good.

That will depend completely on the developer, publisher, or whomever we're getting the game from.

Man that is so great to hear. I love GOG.com's pricing, it's always affordable to me (a teenager).
Same old price point for old games means no VTM: Bloodlines?
