It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

RadonGOG: Well, the title already said it: We´ve got a new LogIn-Screen: How do you like it?

Edit: Added a pic---if someone doesn´t want to log out!
I like the new look of the login dialogue but for whatever reason it did not auto-fill my login information and required me to fill it in again, then rejected my password which I know with absolute certainty was correct (copy and pasted directly from PasswordSafe). Got the same results in Google Chrome and decided to do a password reset which worked in less than a minute, so minor issue overall.

Problem now is that I can not log into the website at all from Mozilla Firefox anymore. I can log in via Google Chrome no problem which is how I'm typing this now. For Firefox I did the standard troubleshooting 101 idiot stuff (flush cache/cookies/history) and restart browser and it accepts the email+password no problem as if it is going to log in, then after the page refreshes, I'm not logged in. Works fine in Chrome though.

I submitted a support ticket to GOG with a bit more detail about the issue in case they've got some kind of browser specific glitch on their end. Thought I would post my experiences here to share data points with others as well. If/when the Firefox issues are resolved, I'll post an update here with any useful info.

Hopefully the new login box is indicative of more changes to the website coming soon to improve things too, as I'm kind of curious now what they have in store for us! :)
Was also logged out, spinning icon while site was faded out in the background seemed to take ages until the new login screen appeared.

How do I like it? It's too bight for my eyes, apparently based on the light colour theme of the site and forum. Would be nice if there were an option to match it to our choice for the forum.

SimpleUser: Is it just me or does the whole site seem a little bit "quicker"?
I got that impression as well, although the login dialogue is slow to respond before and after logging in, but the rest of the site seems to be a bit faster perhaps. Maybe they threw a bunch more hamsters on the wheel this morning or something. :)

I believe it's because it's now technically a different field with a new name. Firefox remembers exactly where your username and password goes on a particular page, once the location has changed Firefox needs to learn the new specifics.
In my case with the new login, I had to retry 3 times to log
The third time GOG finally accepted to give me access to my account -_-;

Poor HypersomniacLive, your single blue eye is always too much sensitive to medium-bright colors :P
P.S: did you try to lower your monitor brightness and contrast? (sorry, many people I know have never even tried that..)

I disabled Barefoot Essentials 2.0 and reloaded the site, went to the forums and logged in successfully. Visiting the main GOG page after that showed as logged in there as well. Looks like there is now an incompatibility with Barefoot Essentials 2.0. After I experiment some more with it I will post a troubleshooting report in the Barefoot 2.0 thread.
I got logged out, the login screen appeared, it took maybe a minute for it to process my user/pass and then it prompted me for the password a second time. After all of that, it took another good minute and a half to actually log me in.

Not sure that it's an incompatibility with Barefoot Essentials 2.0 and Firefox - I was kicked out, but logged back in with no issues using Firefox and with the script enabled.

It's set to the best possible levels, given that different sites use different background colours - fiddling with monitor brightness and contrast for each site doesn't exactly qualify as a solution, does it?

Yeah, make it themeable with custom community generated themes or something. Even cooler if they use WebGL and add Oculus Rift support! :)
I like it a lot. Good to see some changes to the site (especially when none of the alterations I've done break in response)
So, where is the new forum?:P

Ok ok, I just suggested to check it. ; )
Some people use a super bright+contrast default setting and then get eye pain.
In general, also reflexes\direct light on the display are quite bad.

Sorry, no offence meant, forgot to add ";-)" in my reply to you. :-)
Experimented a bit and if I have Barefoot Essentials enabled and go right to the homepage logged out, and try to log in, it acts like it's logging me in ok but shows me as not logged in. If I go to the Community page and do it, I log in ok, but if I go back to the homepage I'm logged out again. If I disable barefoot and try to login I get the same thing, but if I log in on the Community page it logs in ok and clicking on the homepage retains the login. I can then re-enable Barefoot Essentails and navigate the entire site freely and stay logged in.

It doesn't really make a lot of sense. :) Not sure what is going on, could be anything, but there's some weird interaction happening. I've disabled anything else that could potentially interfere (HTTPS Everywhere, and other extensions) just to eliminate them as possibilities.

If anyone else is experiencing this, share your data so we can try to figure it out together. If I figure out anything else I'll update here as well. If anyone has problems with Barefoot though, just temporarily disable it and refresh the page, then login and if it works, then re-enable Barefoot. That seems to work.

(Note: This doesn't necessarily mean there is any bugs in Barefoot, it's just a datapoint observation for now.)
