My wife got me a new laptop for Christmas/my birthday. A lenovo Y50 with 16 GB of RAM, 512 SDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 4GB graphics card, touch screen running Windows 8.1 (unfortunately) and a fourth generation i7 processor. I have been playing on an old Lenovo T510, which I love.

I know it isn't perfect (the keyboard is back-lit in red...) but I'm pretty excited for it. It seems a bit overkill considering I don't play super intense games like skyrim, but it should future proof me for the next 7 years I hope...
Needless to say, I love my wife, especially because she isn't a big fan of computer games.

I hear you. I've had friends who's wives have got into computer games. Damn near destroyed the marriage. Computer time became a custody battle. Good to hear you've got a lady that leaves you with sole access to your real partner :)

Lol I was making the point that even though it isn't something she likes, she still values it because it is important to me.
