A while ago, some Indie devs got together and sold their games in the "Indie Buskers" bundle. I don't know much else beyond that, because I only heard of the bundle when it was long gone.

Today, the IndieBuskers homepage announced that the bundle is coming back. They also announced an interested twist: They are asking peoples to contribute game ideas to a reddit page, and then up- and downvote those ideas. Finally the devs will program games according to the ideas that have "won".

This might be interesting. :)

Never heard of this before. What games were in the first bundle?

Well the first bundle was a game jam based on submitted ideas, so the only twist here is that they're using reddit. ;)

Hmm, from memory there was The Sun Is Deadly, Rose and Time, Pakkuman's Defence, Super Office Stress and... something else. They were just little games as it was a game jam.

Here's a list. Small games that could be programmed quickly, but I've seen three of them added to other offerings as bonuses. Super Office Stress has achieved some popularity.

Yeah, noticed that as well by now. I'd argue that it's still a twist compared to most other bundles around. ;)

True... Rose and Time ended up pretty cool. Minimalist visually but the gameplay was fun.
The Sun is deadly was a bit fun also.
The Buskers are jamming now! :)

for the next 44 hours, you can watch the development of the games live on various streams. Have fun. :)

Edit: You can also buy the bundle already, and download the first build of the first game (very early stages though). :)

The games are coming along nicely. The bundle will contain the following games:

Phone Phantom by Sophie Houlden
"Use telephones to call customer service hotlines. If you can navigate past the robots to an actual human you can possess them!"

Hatesnake 3d by Friedrich Hanisch (Ratking)
"You're a space-snake in a box, you can use bombs I think, and there will be other kinds of gameplay and shit."

Moonside by Sos Sosowski
"Make 'Polybius', an (alleged) game that drove people insane (literally) and got observed by goverment agents"

Space Brawl by Pekka Kujansuu
"2D brawler style game with zero gravity stuff going on. You can punch a guy and disable gravity to make him fly sky high."

Diplomatic Doom by Ido Yehieli
"It's Doom, but you can talk to the monsters. The UAC Space Marine ship has arrived on Mars. Unfortunately the marines are all space-sick from the journey so they sent you, the ship's counselor, to find a diplomatic solution."

HedgeMaster by Phil Hassey
"A hedge maze where you control the hedges."

Sneaky Brats by Mike Hommel
"Stealth game in which putting your hands over your eyes really does make you invisible. The brats are competing in Capture The Flag on a playground, using a variety of imagination powers (You Can't See Me, The Floor Is Lava, etc)."

The bundle is Pay-What-You-Want, and if you buy it now, you can download the current builds already.
