I already own most of the bundle games on Steam, worth it to get them on Android?

orcishgamer: Buy a prepaid Android and then root the SOB, don't activate it, you don't even have to use it as a phone, you can just use it as mobile WiFi and a mini computer. You can, of course, still make VOIP calls over WiFi, so it's not entire useless as a phone. The GPS would still work and you'd have access to a ton of stuff.
Ahahahahahahaha.

A prepaid Android. In Mexico. You're so funny.

You can't buy a cell phone in Mexico unless either it is very very old, or it's tied to a two year contract.

Mexico sucks.

Can't you just get one across the border here in the US? I mean, they're not exactly "free" but the lower end devices don't exactly break the bank either.

orcishgamer: Hmm, I have an original EVO, that doesn't bode well for me.
I think it might be a 3rd party security app preventing the installation from running. As I said, I'll try it on my Note (which doesn't have that app) when I get home from work. If it works, then I guess I'll have to mess around with the settings on the security thing on my Evo.
Just as a heads-up: I have a HTC Desire Z, a fairly recent but also fairly cheap and relatively low-performance Android phone. All of the games - even Anomaly - run perfectly. Edge, World of Goo and Anomaly run beautifully smoothly, Osmos struggles a little on the frame rate, but it's perfectly playable.

Anomaly is a slightly different game to the PC version. While on the PC you had a little commander running around doing all the stuff, the Android version has more traditional RTS controls.

Edge is an awesome game as always, but it works better with a gamepad or keyboard. It's not a touchscreen game. It also has a moment of epic failness when you go to calibrate your phone - telling you to "Hold you iPad/iPhone flat". *facepalm*

World of Goo works superbly with touchscreen, probably worth having a slightly bigger screen for it though.

Not played Osmos much yet.

Foxhack: But I refuse to pay 8 US cents per MB downloaded.
That's hell of a lot better than around here though. If I didn't have a subscription with included data usage (or if I somehow use up the included 5 GB - unlikely as I'm most often between 300 and 500 MB), I'd have to pay about $2US per MB.
You can clearly see that $0.01 steam key buyers were the ones who brought down average so low in previous bundles. Now you need to pay at least $1 to get steam key and average currently is at $5.95. For past bundles average in first day was $3-4 something.
I don't have an Android phone (I still use an old Nokia 33** something), but I bought the bundle anyway, as 3 of the games I don't have on Steam.

I miss the old Snake game on my 3210.

I perfectly agree with this policy. While it doesn't seem to have been the primary consideration, there are so many people on the Steam forums who have been misusing $0.01 Steam keys to trade for other games.

Are they Steam only for Windows?
I just noticed that they're supporting electronic frontier foundation this time. Not really interested in the games, but I might buy just to donate. I'm glad that they're including other charities more.

Edit: apparently they've supported eff before. I've just never noticed ^_^; I guess I'm more observant of stuff like that after the whole SOPA/PIPA thing.

No, you get DRM-free direct download versions and if you pay more than 1$ you also get Steam keys.

Yeah, I play that sometimes, usually in the bus. :-P

It's really funny how people with iPhones or Blackberrys or whatnot, react nowadays when they see such a phone. :-D
