Hi,

I am new in GOG. I registered while Fallout was free and I want someone to introduce me to the site. I know that there are already threads about this. But I still want that. Thanks a lot!
Well first off, Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay.

What would you like to know?
This guy did a great video series about downloading, playing, and configuring games.

As for the site and forum itself, there is only one rule:

Have fun. :)
Welcome,

You will learn who all the regulars are in time and prolly makes some friends, maybe someday even find the elusive IRC chatroom After that just promise to enjoy yourself and have fun!

Actually it's quite simple. Choose a game, pay, download, install and play.

No keys. No activation. No copy protection at all.

Download, install, play.

There are rules. You're trusted to follow them. Don't spread your copy. If someone else wants the game, get back here, pay for a new copy.

No one forces the rules down your throat. You're trusted to follow them.

If you're unsure, mail support.

As for the steps of getting a game:

1. Identify the game you want
2. Add it to your cart, checkout your cart
4. Enter payment info
5. Download (No one forces using the GoG downloader down your throat. Your choice.)
6. Install and play
7. Start from 1 :)

If you're completely unsure, I'd be willing to lend a hand. Just PM me.

Hey, new guy, you might enjoy the Fox comedy series, "New Girl".

That series sucked. I haven't seen a good sitcom since Malcolm In The Middle (though The New Normal can come close to being good).

EDIT: Hello, by the way! I'm the local dragonsawr.

Community is by far my favorite recent show. Flight of The Conchords was awesome but short-lived.

Anyway, welcome!

You know that feeling when you find out someone else likes Community?

That's October 19.

(not sure if you saw last week's video in case I seem like a weirdo)
Welcome to GOG
Enjoy

New Girl? Community? You like the same shows as me! High five. ^5

Moving on... Welcome to GOG, davahcore! GOG is easily my favorite site to download games. No DRM, the people at GOG always seem to treat us fairly, and there's so many Good Old Games on this site. I joined for Empire Earth, but I've since built up a nice little collection. GOG has a lot of great promos and the community here is good. I really hope you enjoy your stay, because it's great to see more people joining and supporting this fantastic site.

Just saw that video yesterday, actually. :D
Hi,

I want to know about the basics and which games should I get. I have only the free games and Baldur's Gate: The Complete Saga thanks to ksj8ak2.
And I don't want this thread to become a "New Girl" sitcom thread. Maybe I should change the title. :P
